This is a song I wrote about the winter season when I was 10 years old. It was summer and I was on vacation in Thailand, but I was already thinking about the next winter in Germany.

I wrote this song when I was 9 years old and looking forward to summer vacation. The photo was taken during a sand dune bashing tour in the desert between Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

Summer (© 2016)

I wrote this song about visiting islands when I was 8 years old. My family loves to go to islands during our vacations. At that time, I only wrote the melody and part of the lyrics. When I was 10 years old, my father helped me finish the lyrics and record the song in his home studio. This version was recorded a few years later in 2017.

With this song I applied for the songwriting competition Dein Song 2020 at the German TV station KiKA. My song made it into the top 40, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to become one of the 15 or so candidates in the show.

With this song I participated in the national songwriting competition "Treffen Junge Musik-Szene" and won : https://www.berlinerfestspiele.de/de/treffen-junge-musik-szene/programm/2020/auswahl/start.html. As a prize I would have participated in workshops and coachings together with the other winners from November 25th to 30th 2020 in Berlin and then would have played/sung one of my songs live at the concert in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. Unfortunately that has been postponed for a year because of covid.

With this song I applied for the songwriter competition Dein Song 2021 and later for the Dein Song für Warschau competition (German selection for Junior Eurovision 2020) on KiKA. At Dein Song I made it into the top 40, like last year, but not into the show. But I made it into the top 5 at the selection for the Junior ESC 2020.
