The current music scene is great because of the places where music is made and the experiments that are repeated by each personality. For individual creators, it is much more valuable to have an environment where they can come into contact with a large number of personalities than to be spread.

My music is fully notated and is intended for live performance by live musicians.

After completing my doctorate in composition in 1979 from UNT, I took 30 years off from composing to join the computer software revolution as a software engineer.  In 2010 I began composing again and have not stopped. So, I find myself beginning (restarting?) a composition career rather late in life...but that's OK.  Most of the works posted here were written since 2010.

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors. Obwohl ich etwas Klavierunterricht hatte komponiere ich autodidaktisch, völlig frei im Moment.  
Nicht immer sind es gefällige Harmonien. Versucht meine Musik einfach unvoreingenommen und völlig wertfrei von Euren Hörgewohnheiten zu hören.
