Telepathy

From the vaults (ca. 1990): this is a sketch for an ambient piece for three guitars based on a simple aleatory structure: I overdubbed three short melody lines, more-or-less in C, and recorded them "blind" -- that is, without listening to how each line interacted with the other two in terms of rhythm or harmony.

Final Frontier - disquiet0472

This is the second phase of a three-part collaborative project for the Disquiet Junto. From a list of almost 70 short tracks, I chose this piano piece by @ChrisLedwidge and came up with an accompanying guitar part. Next week a third person might choose to add a part to complete the trio. Even if that doesn't happen, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

Du(o J)et No. 34 in A minor [Disquiet0473]

Broody ambient/soundtrack piece made up of a variety of found sounds: a local building's ventilator, a clip from a documentary about Brian Eno, and snippets from some old, unused guitar recordings of mine.

NOTE:This is a revised version of a song I uploaded earlier. Shout-out to  @michael-ash-sharbaugh for pointing out a technical glitch which, it turned out, was easy enough to fix.

Time No Radar On Emit

A collaboration with @joyneski and @melondruie for Disquiet Junto #0474. Melondruie created a drone patch which Joyenski mutated electronically into a percussion track, then I added the guitar and a bit of processing.

This is a revised version that replaces the earlier one, which I deleted. There was some scraping sound on the guitar caused by a plug-in I foolishly added at the last minute. I changed the intro slightly
