Since beginning his music career in 2002 and debuting on Monoid Recordings, Toru Ikemoto has been recognized as a prominent producer/DJ in the global techno scene.
Releasing on renowned international labels such as SYXT, WSNWG, SUARA, BCCO, Room Trax, NECHTO, and QUARTZREC, his tracks—played by top artists including Richie Hawtin, Rødhåd, MARRØN, Joseph Capriati, and Hito—have earned high acclaim on dance floors at clubs and festivals worldwide.

In 2021, he founded his own label, Chimera Recordings, followed by the co-founding of Aum Recordings in 2022. His releases, including EPs featuring remixes by globally recognized artists, have received critical praise across the industry.

Alongside his work as an artist, Toru has over 15 years of experience teaching DJing and music production, and is one of the few Ableton Certified Trainers in Japan. He is also the founder of the DJ/DTM school yell0w, where he is committed to nurturing the next generation of artists.

In this Gumroad Masterclass, Toru shares the expertise honed through years of production and international releases. From creating complete tracks from scratch using only Ableton Live, to professional-level mixing and mastering techniques used in real-world settings, this course is designed to take your music production skills to the next level.

2021年、自身のレーベル「Chimera Recordings」を設立。翌年には共同設立した「Aum Recordings」からも意欲的な作品を発表し、世界的アーティストによるリミックスを含むEPが高評価を獲得。

アーティスト活動に加え、DJ・楽曲制作の講師として15年以上のキャリアを持ち、日本では数少ないAbleton Certified Trainerとしても活躍。また自身が運営するDJ・DTMスクール「yell0w」にて次世代アーティストの育成にも力を注ぐ。

Through her constant research for self-expression, Costanza approaches the world of sound with utmost sincerity and passion. Born and raised in Rome and now based in Berlin, her sonic identity is shaped by an inherent introspective drive—where the process of creation, in all its forms and through all senses, becomes a portal to self-awareness. A space dedicated to understanding the complexities of the mind, and a language that has resonated across some of the most revered festivals and dancefloors, including Draaimolen (NL), or Berlin’s Säule (Berghain), RSO, and Watergate. 

Her creative practice moves fluidly between sound, visual language, and writing, forming a cohesive expression of her evolving sensibilities. Musically, she explores the intricacy of texture and percussion, shaped by deep, low-end-focused techno aesthetics. There’s a distinct trace of Italy’s electronic lineage woven into her approach, revealed in selections that move between liquid atmospheres and the softness of ambient drones, to club terrains marked by a hypnotic, organic essence.

Art is Costanza's personal, synesthetic expression of a world created all in the inside. And all the rest doesn't matter.
