As haunting as anything from Nick Cave.  Very nice.

Leonard Cohen come back and listen to this! Lovely intro and appropriate voice. Also, the lyrics are appropriate. But to my mind, you could sing almost anything with that backing and voice and it would be just fine.

Vocal octive switch is a great technique, so effective...not many (me) can pull it off like you've done.  A simple story but the ache comes through so strong.  And guitar is....well, perfect.

Man your voics, this classical guitar and these simple sounds on the back and still this has the power of a full orchestra playing!! Awesome

Daydreaming through the dark times.

A song of daydreaming trying to forget your stress but it's always there as a slow building constant.

A happy accident but if you loop this track it flows perfectly into itself lol. 

Updated the track 1st August 2025 with a fresh mix and added acoustic guitar work. Also added some subtle ambient percussion and some vox for depth.

Welcome to my SoundCloud page.  It is a joy to share with you my original songs and the music that I love.   

I invite you to check out my weekly broadcast on Radio Station VOWR in St. John’s, Newfoundland.  You will find me on the air every Monday at 6:30 pm (EST).  On my program, you will hear modern songs and old standards from a host of musical genres including Light Rock, Contemporary, Folk, Soul and Country.  

Also, my wife Rayna hosts a wonderful radio program every Monday at 3:30 pm (EST) on VOWR.  Her program is an eclectic mix of modern sounds, classic songs and deep cuts.  If you are a music lover, I highly recommend you check it out.
