Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

This is a piece I composed 4 years ago, my last year I was living in Greece. It sounds like a piano etude for fast arpeggios in impressionistic style. As always water is the dominant element in my compositions. There is a small surprise somewhere in this piece.

It is an old recording. Probably, I recorded it with my phone. Thus, I would like to apologize if the quality of sound is not good enough. However, I think that it deserves a place in my collection of improvisations.

Autumn comes, and the darkness soon will cover the light of the sun. Soon all of us will be just victims of the darkness. And as darkness is coming something sweet and beautiful approaches our hearts.
