The duo have established themselves across multiple continents for their raw and diverse sound -pulling from Techno, House, Electro, New Wave, Italo and more. In Addition, they are the founders and owners of Berlin’s music platform, HÖR.

"VA. - Valley of Tears Vol.4" will be available from March 4, 2022 in a double vinyl edition + digital.

Following the massive success of https://soundcloud.com/cultivated-electronics/CE026-From-The-Dark-Volume One, Cultivated Electronics return with another world-class compilation of Electro artists from across the world. 

The track selected to premiere on @DarkScienceElectro is produced by Zeta Reticula, Slovenian producer better known for his Techno/Tech-House DJ chops. This side-project of the producer has been active since 2001, releasing on labels like @Electrix-Records, @MechatronicaMusic, @SixteenOFive and now with @Cultivated-Electronics. This track absolutely shines with old-school Electrofunk beats, a syncopated bass line and well-placed arpeggios that weave in and out of the song. When the lead isn't making you move, a creeped-out ghostly pad appears to help convey the 'From The Dark' feel of the release. This LP comes out on 11/26/2018 and will distributed via Clone.

This 5 track EP (the second installment of 'The Orbitants' VA compilation series) isn't short on heat with songs from Heinrich Dressel, Galaxian, Foreign Sequence, Jensen Interceptor and Lake Haze. The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere is the brooding 'System Glitch' by Lake Haze. This virus-infected track features spooky pads triggering an edgy arpeggio, creating an almost anxiety-inducing vibe for the dance floor. 

This limited (300) red vinyl is released on June 18th

Coming next on Cultivated Electronics Ltd (CE’s limited vinyl offshoot) is a V/A EP entitled ‘Onderwereld’ which takes its name from a former atomic bunker based in The Hague (Netherlands) that housed music studios, offices and the Intergalactic FM station, Onderwereld Radio.  The building had to be vacated last year, but the amalgamation of some of those artists and their creative resources lives on.  Together, they encapsulate the new underground sound of The Hague.

Opening the A-side is a track by Crave Festival organiser, Cosmox who delivers tough staccato Electro-funk on ‘Electrostress’, before 543ff (a regular player on the Dutch Electro scene who’s released on ÆX and has a forthcoming album on Diffuse Reality) brings stripped-back beats and layers of melody on ‘Easy’.

Keeping the Onderwereld collaborative ethos alive, 543ff joins forces with Star-kid (Bunker Records) and Gamma Intel (Brokntoys / Pinkman) on the B-side, for ‘Three City Firm’.  Their original version is dark and bristling, while 543ff’s remix takes the track on a galactic ride.
