In late 2024, (Sir?) Chris Coyler left Seattle for Sacramento and started writing crap with his brother, Kevin. The pair then tapped ex-Mondo Deco drummer Billy Ewing to start shaping songs only to become a growing catalog of pub/E-Z riff-rock tunes. megaphonies are too blandly-dressed to be pop-punkers, but too Old Navy looking to be lo-fi eggheads. Maybe fans of big rock acts like Viagra Boys, the Hives or Jack White will dig this?

Founded in 2002, Slovenly Recordings was a new direction for label veteran Pete "Stickerguy" Menchetti. Having just scrapped his 702 Records (Scared of Chaka/ The Loudmouths) imprint, Pete was on a mission to release only the best in garage and punk shit rock for crazy kids all over the planet. Starting with a very fine full length release by the Netherlands' swampiest caveman blues duo Lo-Lite, Slovenly has grown to be one of the most respected labels world wide for ripping and REAL rock'n'roll!

All of our releases are available on VINYL, with many of the LPs also having a CD edition.

Slovenly imprint BLACK GLADIATOR is run by Bazooka Joe of The Thing With Two Heads DJ duo. Totally corrosive garage-punk, sometimes psychedelic, and often with a warped hip-hop sensibility, Black Gladiator has released records by Tunnel of Love, Vex Ruffin and the Lo-Fi Jerkheads, Gino and the Goons, Sick Thoughts, The Monsieurs, The Hussy, PyPy, New Coke, Obnox, The Psyched and Electric Crush.

Desde 2003 Scatter Records es un integrante de la escena emergente en Argentina.

Como sello edita música para quien conoce y escucha música, de artistas con alto vuelo creativo, dando valor al catálogo como testimonio de un momento en particular y como catalizador de alguna escena. Generando a través de su trabajo un espacio para desarrollar y promover nuevos artistas de géneros clásicos dentro del amplio espectro del rock -desde surf music, garage rock, power pop hasta ska jamaiquino-. El trabajo discográfico también abarca el proyecto cultural ¡Maldita Sea! Discos editando EP de bandas argentinas en Brasil.

Como productora el sello realiza el ciclo “Music is my Girlfriend”, donde se presentaron bandas de Brasil, Perú, Chile, Uruguay y Venezuela, convirtiéndose en un activo agente de integración cultural. Produjo shows de artistas internacionales como the King Automatic, Loquillo, Datsuns, Mudhoney, Eddie Spaghetti, Agent Orange, The DT's, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion y Joe Lally (el bajista de Fugazi). Co produce el festival El Mapa de Todos junto a Senhor F Discos y el festival Porão do Rock en Buenos Aires. Somos también Heart of Golf South America y tenemos una agencia de Promoción y Booking llamada Rock City.

Como agencia de booking ha realizado giras de diferentes artistas por Argentina, Brasil y Europa y algunos shows internacionales como Gruff Rhys, Nada Surf, Brujería, Atari Teenage Riot, Dinosaur Jr., Television, Lee Ranaldo, Ben Kweller, Maïa Vidal, Laetitia Sadier y Neil Halstead.
