This mixtape took a while. Sometimes my own standard seems to be too high to reach, so I try again and again until I’m satisfied with the story. With this one, I really am.
I’m absolutely thankful that I have the privilege to find and share music from all over the globe. Through music, on the one hand I feel more connected to the world and all its weird and overwhelming moods, and to its sad and also horrible stories. On the other hand it reminds me of my responsibilities for the world as someone from the richest countries of the global north.

This is my set from Saturday afternoon at Rainbow Serpent . It was my 3rd year to play the festival and the first time playing in the day! I decided to play with some lighter moods and build a more colourful story over the hour. Dear slow lovers, it's a time right after the winter solstice, representing new beginnings, and the conquering of light over darkness as the days grow longer. Take some time out of your evening on the Wolf Moon to journal your thoughts and to reconnect to your inner self.

Chalanga presents “Sagittarius” an exclusive selection of original and unreleased tracks mixed live for Downtempo Rituals.

“During this crazy year, forced by the lockdown, we have been focusing on studio production. At some point, we realized that we had in our hands some explosive tracks that deserved to be mixed to share a glimpse of our ultimate live performance.  
This live set, recorded during one of the few moments we had a chance to get together, is dedicated to the constellation of Sagittarius, our zodiac sign. 
It opens with a re-edit of  “Canto de Yemanjà”, a Brazilian classic dedicated to the Queen of the Sea, it goes on with an exclusive selection of unreleased and original tracks and it closes with “Yanez”, our first single of Paradisea EP recently released on vinyl for Salgari Records. 
We performed with the same energy that we would like to share live on stage, hoping that soon it will be possible again.”

So blessed to be able to party here in NZ, and we are constantly thinking of our families and friends around the world who are not in a position of such privilege. X 
I love playing at Lucky Star, they are an amazing crew of utter pirates who never fail to put the fun in to partying. 
Given the job of setting the scene for Friday night I was blessed with an amazing crowd (which you can hear in places) and my face ached from all the laughing and smiling. I truly love what I do and I love all of you too!! xXx
