Thrilled to host the wonderfully talented Dublin-based @siofraa for vol. 58! Síofra's mixes for @soulseekersallowance, @fuaimdub, @dublindigitalradio (to name a few) all feature a relentlessly engaging approach to house, techy and progressive sounds that perfectly blends the old with the new. You'll find that same energy here in this fun hour full of percussive, euphoric, mind-bending club music for melt. Síofra recorded this mix while reminiscing about clubs, which were closed in Ireland at the time. After recording it, they reopened. So safe to say she manifested their reopening with this one! With a background in classical and contemporary dance, London-based queer DJ HENDERSON's sets tend to have a strong focus on groove throughout. With a regular show starting this month on Netil Radio and sharing lineups with the likes of Angel D'lite, Goddezz Temple, Marie Malarie and many more, HENDERSON is starting to make a name for themselves in the London queer-scene.

For their mix, they serve us a blend of hypnotic grooves, hard hitting breaks layered with emotional vocals and of course, lots and lots of euphoric trance.

"I recorded it at the end of this past summer, which coincided with the end of the festival season. I needed to recharge my physical+emotional batteries after a summer-long marathon of playing non stop in clubs and festivals all over France and doing my Berlin debuts.

 I think the mix is an accurate reflection of my mood in that moment. It’s a nostalgic combo of slow rhythms, soft vocals and transcendental vibes, which help de-clutter the mind and ease the soul. I would recommend giving it a listen on a sunny afternoon, going out on a walk in a park or while riding a bike near a body of water. "

We catch up with @6969bambi, resident DJ of Macadam Nantes, a host of Rinse France as well as curator for @tentacularlov, a show and mix series on Dia Radio. Bambi has prepared us a beautiful down-tempo mix, full of trip hop, jungle and other sexy slow rhythms.

Mother of Whomp Annx (@annx-anna-whomp) has invited Lyon-based Subsism (@subsism): DJ, producer and co-founder of the ATOM collective for the latest edition of ‘The Sound of Whomp’. 

Subsim has put together an infectious hour of pumping froggy psy showing his eclectic selection across trance, breaks and bass. 

Checkout his debut EP on Matiere, a contribution on the fiery Crazed Behaviour label, and more to come, Subsism has not finished making a name for himself in France and beyond. Thanks for the rocket ship ride!
