Our next release comes once again from our good friend Marius Drescher. After his hit „We Had It All“ in 2020, Marius strikes back with his new EP "Hunter". The title track „Hunter“ is a powerful, melodic dancefloor bomb for those ecstatic peaktime hours. Following with „Memory Lane“, Marius shows us his talent to combine nostalgic soundscapes and driving grooves. The third and final track of the release is called „Shadows“ and closes the EP with a vibe of darkness and flickering lights.

Jacob Groening‘s Kamai Music starts 2023 with a deep and melodic EP from Niki Sadeki which along with the three originals also features a remix by El Mundo.

Niki Sadeki is an Iranian-Canadian artist who is currently based in Brooklyn, United States. She first rose to fame as a skilled DJ who had an innate talent for reading the dance floor and mixing skills that allowed her to effortlessly blend genres ranging from melodic techno to organic house.

After establishing herself on the international DJ scene, Niki Sadeki started to produce her own tracks and in 2020 made her first official release. Utilising her knowledge of what works on the dance floor, her tracks have been an instant success and her back catalogue already includes tracks on Kiosk ID, down., and her own record label Quetame.

El Mundo is a Dutch artist who is known for being a talented musician that blends live instrumentation with electronic sounds to create organic house that's rich in melody. Along with solo tracks on the likes of Café Del Mar Music and Do Not Sit, El Mundo has also collaborated with the likes of Satori and Zazou on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical and Kindisch. El Mundo also runs the Quetame record label in collaboration with Niki Sadeki and Zazou.

Partial Press Release: The 42nd release on microCastle welcomes Chicola and Sahar Z to the label for their debut EP. The Israeli duo have long been at the core of Tel Aviv's electronic music scene. Sahar Z is now approaching 20 years as one of the country's most recognized artists. Part owner and resident at Tel Aviv's famed 'The Cat & Dog' club, Sahar continually plays alongside some of the world's best talent such as Sasha, John Digweed, Dubfire, Mathew Jonson and Patrice Baumel. While his productions for Bedrock, Lost & Found, Suara and Sudbeat continue to make him one of the most unique and cutting edge artists in the underground. 

Similarly Chicola began his journey into electronic music in the mid-nineties, at Tel Aviv's renowned 'Allenby 58, DJing alongside Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Danny Tenaglia and countless other top international talents. Recent studio work for Lost & Found, Sudbeat Music and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, along with one hugely in demand and unreleased piece 'Childhood', has propelled Chicola into one of electronic music's most intriguing artists. 

The studio synergy between Chicola and Sahar is constant and while an abundance of material is locked away (primarily for live gigs), it's only on rare occasions that you see a collaborative release from the duo. Previous EP's for Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music are all that sits in the duos collective discography. Now as 2016 begins we see a long awaited third project, their debut EP for microCastle entitled 'It Happened One Night'. 

The EP's second selection 'The Stage' finds Chicola and Sahar crafting the ultimate techno jam. It's a journey that plays out over fourteen glorious minutes, anchored by a smooth, momentous groove, it effortlessly flows through a myriad of subtle motifs and cosmic effects. A continually evolving adventure with a techno state of mind, as described by Chicola and Sahar, "This one was a winter session that resulted in a soulful moment. A time when we turned off our minds and opened up our hearts. An analog moment for us, circular sounds with warm melodies.  It's our 909 meets 303 approach and an endless jam session for the future."

Being the co-owner of Selador certainly has its advantages as Dave Seaman knows only too well. The ability to release your own productions on your own label is of course, one of the perks of the job because quite frankly, who’s gonna stop you?! So no sooner has ‘Rodales’ (his contribution to the recent 3D EP) done it’s business, than the Boss Man pulls rank once again to deliver another lovingly crafted EP.

To be fair, it’s a release more than deserved of its place on the schedule. An EP of consummate artistry, the delightfully titled ‘Rapscallion’s Revenge’ comes in four variations; 2 courtesy of Dave himself with further interpretations coming from German upstarts Township Rebellion and Irish Techno master Ian O’Donovan.
