This is a conceptual EP I made a while back, constructed entirely out of field recorded / sampled material I captured in a 14th century village church. During the recording and production process I utilised techniques from areas such as musique concrète (see definition below), to create a cyclical, narrative-led EP that explores the natural cycles of the earth: from birth / creation to decay / decomposition. 

("Musique concrète is a type of music composition that utilizes recorded sounds as raw material. Sounds are often modified through the application of audio signal processing and tape music techniques, and may be assembled into a form of sound collage.")
