Robert Solheim is a producer who has been at the heart of some diverse and exciting collaborative projects over the years, whether it be his dark electronic pop as The Opiates with songstress Billie Ray Martin, his Aquavit project with American composer Michael Snyder or his forthcoming Popkissed endeavor with Norwegian singer Lill-Ann Blauenfeldt he has passionately championed a broad arrange of styles and genres. Yet at the heart of his work it’s clear that a love of electronic music is a large part of the driving force behind his recordings and it is this love that is explored with his solo releases.

EMC stands for Electronic Music Culture. The project was born in 2015 as a web radio and developed into a podcast series, music network, and collective of DJs.

We explore underground electronic music in all its complexity, and our playlists collected more than 100 mixes over the years and is now divided into two main folders: Shapes and Atmospheres.

He's been around for two centuries and has a discography the length of the country he is living in. Meet Helge Tømmervåg from Norway. Most people know him only by his artist name: Mind over MIDI. Instead of the capital Oslo, Tømmervåg resides in Kristianssund, a tiny city near the west coast.

Since his techno excursions in the late nineties, Mind over MIDI has been a trustworthy beacon in the icey seas of Nordic electronic music.
