KeepVibesNear is an Alternative R&B artist from London. With the looks of a 90ies R&B superstar and a delivery that owes more to King Krule than to D'Angelo, KVN doesn't fit into the usual boxes.

Raised in Romford, London with family ties in Lagos, he has built a loyal following with a couple of self-released songs and already enjoyed support from tastemakers like Jamz Supernova (BBC) and Jyoty (Rinse FM). After participating in The Silhouettes Project (check his single “What U Need“) KVN signed with Melting Pot Music, where he is releasing his new single “Gently“.

On “Gently” melancholic Wurlitzer notes reverberate across a cold sonic landscape, beautifully accompanied by KVN’s tender tones, channeling a wintery tale about reconciliation. KVN explains: “Gently as a song represents the build-up in an argument with your other half. That moment at the end of an argument when you give in to your care for the other person. You take a breath, put aside your ego. The turmoil in the verses compared to the make up in the chorus represent the balance in compromise.“

London based alternative R&B artist KeepVibesNear follows his much-praised track “Gently” on Melting Pot Music with new single “M25”. On “M25”, KVN spices up his ‘Noir R&B’ sound with some bars from East London rapper and illustrator Kieron Boothe. 

KVN describes “M25” as “a song about tension and build up.“ A tribute to one of England’s most important and busiest roads, enclosing almost all of Greater London, KVN explains: “I spend a lot of days looking forward to just getting home and winding down with that special someone. For some it’s a booty call, for some it’s seeing their girlfriend/boyfriend after a long day. M25 is my anthem for ‘What are we doing later?’ It's an ode to how we can have that someone that makes us so excited to be where they are.“ 

“M25” is produced by Harvey Whyte who recently laced tracks for the likes of Greentea Peng and Fatima and runs his own label, Studio 117. Like KVN, Kieron Boothe contributed to the first volume of The Silhouettes Project (2020) alongside artists like Enny, Kofi Stone and Summers Sons.

"U-n-Touchable BIS 5.0" is a #Hip-Hop × Political Trap | by SOS – Sound Of Starlings.
A forensic exposé of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), this track unveils the hidden architecture of global finance — where immunity shields power, and jargon veils control. The lyric maps a storyline from covert governance to public awakening, exposing how unelected financial elites shape world policy from behind closed doors in Basel. "U-n-Touchable BIS" is also an aggressive, fact-driven Hip-Hop anthem that functions as a direct indictment of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). It alleges that the BIS operates as an
unchecked, quasi-sovereign entity, using its Diplomatic Immunity to shield itself from scrutiny while employing complex financial jargon (Basel III, Capital Ratios) to run an "Economic Black Hole." The
song is a defiant call-to-action, asserting that the only way to destroy this
secretive system is through global awareness and transparency, shattering the
"Jargon Veil."
The Storyline depicts the Anatomy of the Economic Black Hole. 
The lyric follows a clear, logical progression, telling the story of how an immune, shadow power controls the global financial system and how that power is finally challenged:
Act 1: The Sovereign Crime (Verse 1: The Sovereign Shield)
The Setup: The story begins in the Swiss "mist" of Basel, where unelected governors gather to write "world rules on napkins." The Problem: This verse establishes the core injustice: the BIS's legal status (Diplomatic Immunity) makes it "U-n-Touchable," exempt from national laws and taxes. The central image is the "Economic Black Hole" built deliberately on this "sovereign twist."
Act 2: The Weapon (Verse 2: The Financial Cipher)
The Mechanism: The narrative shifts from legal privilege to practical control. The weapon used to run the Black Hole is complexity and jargon, specifically the Basel III Accords.
The Result: These dense, technical rules are presented as "safety" but are truly a "capital trap." The song states that these global mandates allow the governors to control every major bank and tie every citizen's savings to their "dark shadow," all while hiding the theft through manufactured "illusion of order."
Act 3: The Defiant Reckoning (Bridge & Chorus)
The Climax: The Bridge acts as the emotional breaking point, translating the systemic analysis into personal outrage. The technical jargon of "Basel" is dismissed as mere "institutional greed," and the personal cost—the jobs they "grave," the future they "shave"—is laid bare.
The Resolution: The final Chorus and Outro declare the victory of awareness. Since the system relies on silence, the act of knowing and watching ("We are watching, BIS") is the force that makes the Black Hole "shrinking" and shatters the brittle shield of "accountability tonight." The silence is broken, and the destruction of the system has begun.

I discovered him through my friends Jimmy and Gopi back in 2009 ish and found out he was local to us near Riverside (when I was going to school there). Ever since I listened to FORM and Afta Thoughts Vol.1 beat music has changed for me. Fast foward to 2017 when we had our Beat Cinema anniversary at the Acerogami (Glass House / Pomona) He and I linked up and he gave me the B4 tape (cassette).
