The Black Sea is currently the front line in a war. A war between humanity and inhumanity. In a world where millions are displaced by war and geopolitical disputes which are nothing to do with its inhabitants.  Millions of people are fleeing to EU countries in hope of a better life and while it's not for us to pin our political colours to a mast, we are first and foremost human, and have a responsibility to make sure our fellow humans are safe.
Lurid Music and Anatolian Weapons are making a stand, donating 100% of the proceeds of this EP to Humanity Crew, a charity which specializes in psychological support for displaced refugees fleeing the war ravaged regions from outside the EU.
Anatolian Weapons AKA Athenian resident Aggelos Baltas is currently on the up, with a track selected by Lena Willikens for her Dekmantel Selectors 05 Compilation as well as releases or remixes on Dream Weapons, Faint Object and more. 
Agglelos is keeping up the momentum with a release on Washington label, Lurid Music, a label which has released EPs and remixes from Khidja, Tim Fairplay, Rattler Proxy and Antoni Maiovvi throughout it's sporadic release schedule from the past few years. However, this one has been worth the wait.
Black Sea is slow mo Acid at it's finest with a warm analogue sounds permeating from every orifice of it's being.
Delayed cut up vocals add an atmosphere you would expect from any producer who calls the shores of the Aegean their home, whatever the crisis or crises it might face.

Kincaid teams up with 80s cult icon Blancmange for new single ‘Big Fat Head’. The father, son collaboration is set to drop on Disco Halal.

Fast emerging artist Kincaid has unveiled a new collaborative record with the respected British synth-pop act Blancmange. Set for release on the 22nd March, ‘Big Fat Head’ will land on Moscoman’s famed Disco Halal imprint.

Clad with percussive textures, the release marks a father and son team-up with Kincaid (Joe Arthur) and father, Neil Arthur, via the Blancmange project. Accompanied by a remix from Moscoman and Trikk under the 'Nucat' moniker, ‘Big Fat Head’ is turned into a chugging synth-wave melody.

The record marks the first original production from the pair, who have previously collaborated on a string of remixes for Blancmange’s ‘What’s The Time’, ‘Distant Storm’ and ‘Not A Priority’ - taken from the acclaimed albums ‘Wanderlust’ and ‘Unfurnished Rooms’.

Based in Berlin, but firmly rooted in the diverse and forward-facing musical scene of Tel Aviv, Moscoman’s Disco Halal label hails from beneath the minarets of the Holy Land. The imprint exists to present a tightly-knit and growing community of musicians and producers, each transmitting their unique musical identity, yet each united by a unique sensibility, as well as a harmonious balance of rhythm and experimentation.

Encompassing elements of downtempo, new-wave and alternative pop, stitched together with a leftfield dancefloor throb, Disco Halal’s back-catalogue, filled with efforts from the likes of Simple Symmetry, The Organism and Moscoman himself, has seen the imprint rapidly emerging from the once-overlooked nightlife and club scene of Tel Aviv into the worldwide spectrum.

We at Feinstoff are really happy to share with you all the fourth release of British/Albanian imprint "Olimpiada". 'Zig Zag Sea EP' by the Albanian project 'Pines In The Sun'. Mastered by Rich Lane at Cotton Bud Mastering. 

This is a debut release for the Tirana Based duo Lindi aka Uj Pa Gaz and Olsi of Radioblog Tirana. 

Both tracks were recorded in Sep 2018 at Bunec beach in the south coast of Albania. The sound is a mix of balearic, dub, psychedelic, downtempo, think the Adriatic zig zag sea meeting the Ionian sun. Here comes a special remix from the tici taci label boss Duncan Gray!

Designed to illicit rapid brain-change on the downtempo dance floor, this is Chug-lorica of the highest order of pyramid power, an advanced exploration of occult psychedelia, alternate linguistic realities, cosmic triggers to unlock deeper meanings and higher truths. ‘Cosmic Trigger’ features a speech about LSD de-fragmentation, the title referencing Robert Anton Wilson’s vision of mental illumination. ‘Tamba’ reprograms the linguistic cortex, featuring the vocal talents and lyrical codex of Viktoria Wehrmeister. While ‘Yama’ deepens the proceedings to the point where one questions the very foundations of life.

If this all sounds too psychically challenging  for a peak time party DJ set, take comfort in the supremely playable acid antics of the ever reliable, Marc Piñol. Subdued ecstatic house, this remix perfectly reflects those rare moments of MDMA-bliss where one’s heart is FULLY open while one’s dignity remains intact. Clearly a producer you can count on when you get high and still want to dance. 

Ordained drum-machine funk-monk Krikor smashes Yama into a post-Anthropocene Jamaican dancehall where cyber-dreadlocks connect mankind to ORICOM, the Gaian matrix. To be featured in the rave scene in the upcoming MATRIX feature film starring Keanu Reeves and Richie Hawtin as The AI. 


If that package couldn’t sell itself, then the splendid psychedelic frame of artwork that Ventral is Golden created will surely catch eyes and lure in listeners with the inclination to re-align and reach their highest potential as listeners in absolute union with music.
