A rare celestial visitor from beyond the void 🪐

3I/ATLAS is the third confirmed interstellar object ever observed. Discovered on 1 July 2025 by the ATLAS telescope in Chile, it’s up to about 28 km wide, traveling fast and will pass just inside Mars’ orbit in late October 2025. Likely an active comet, it may form a glowing coma and tail as it nears the Sun. 

Though hidden behind the Sun at closest approach, it should reappear by December 2025. Interstellar visitors like 3I/ATLAS carry material from distant planetary systems, offering a rare glimpse into worlds beyond our own and bringing significant changes into the energy grid of our solar system.

Happy Holidays Music Lovers!

I am back with my second 2 hour journey of 2017. I had all but done away with 2 hour mixes in recent years due to a desire to stay away from listener ADD but have recently come to the realization that 2 hours is really the best format for me to explore a mix the way I have always liked to. It allows me the freedom to explore material I really wouldn't have time for in a 60 minute format. I realize it can be hard to find the time to ingest a full 2 hour mix in one sitting but these are really made for driving or for those who enjoy putting a pair of headphones on for 2 hours and making the world go away.

As always I hope this mix brings a smile to the face of anyone who takes the time to give it a listen.

Weird music, deep melodies, heavy elements and synthetic timbres. Those are the concepts that hold the sonority of Isadoser, the musical project of Isadora Otoni. The DJ and producer is based in Chapada dos Veadeiros, but had a long stay in São Paulo, where she connected with the universe of underground electronic music. After feeling embraced by parties like Voodoohop, Mamba Negra and Capslock, she moved from experiments in decoration to the musical field. Her first presentation was at Voodoohop, but had the deepest experiences in the extinct collective Kriança Esperança. Isadoser has played in many events through the underground scene, such as Quack!, Limbo, Fetsa, Goza, aFluxus, and Signal Festival, in Prague. Nowadays she is the founder and producer of Serenight, a collective that promotes experimental parties with electronic and ethnic music, like downtempo, techno, microhouse and popular brazilian music. Her productions have been released in labels such as Tropical Twista Records and Casa Caos. Mix magic, bucolic, spirituality and a machine shop: an Isadoser’s set is born.

About Serenight:

Moving the electronic music scene in Chapada dos Veadeiros, the collective Serenight is formed by Isadora Otoni, Mateus Almeida Silva, Léli Conti, Diana Larissa and Raphael Palmer. With the goal to link multiple artistic media, the group brings a post-modern visual concept, with an interactive and handmade scenography, alongside authorial video projections. The group has the “Do It Yourself” motto, and presents parties with a post-apocalyptic hippie aesthetic. Their musical characteristics are the experimentation of synthetic sounds mixed with organic elements, in genres that flows from microhouse to dub techno, from downtempo to minimal.
