TRAXSOURCE LIVE! Sessions #200 - Platinum City

EP-258 of the NDYD Radio Show lands right on time and clocks in a little bit long. This is because I couldn't peel myself off the decks when I was recording it. As I mentioned in a previous post, I got bitten by the Garage House bug which is a style I hardly play on the show even if it's one of my favorite sub-genre from the scene. So I went all in and 90% of the tracks are from amazing Garage artists that are keeping the genre alive. Hopefully you will have time to experience the whole episode because this one doesn't let go and if you don't dance to it then you should check if you still have a pulse ;)

You know I really thought this was gonna be the week that I would do something I haven't done in months. That is to miss a week's episode. We are so slam at work that I have been working two weekends in a row (including last week's holiday) non stop.

While listening today to some of the new music I've accumulated in the last few weeks as I worked I just couldn't bring myself to miss an episode. I cranked through to the animations I had to do and got around to record EP-267 before the end of the day. I'm so glad I did cause I needed this to wind down a bit from the craziness.

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction.
