There are so many positive things I could say about our guest this week because I ABSOLUTELY love this guy and the friendship we have. He is one of the OGs and alumni of the radio show since it's early days. It's not a coincidence that I am putting out his guest set early because him and I are headlining this coming Saturday at the super club Supernova in beautiful Seattle. One of my favorite places in the world to play. If you are in The City of Goodwill this weekend please join us because the night will be epic. Ajax has given a beautiful preview and taste of what will incur. With his permission, I will copy and paste the note he send me when he forward me the mix which describes beautifully what the mix is about:

"Here we are, a year later after my Alumni Mix and it's already time for my Masters Degree!  It's with great pleasure I present my 6th mix for NDYD Show!  Like every time when given the opportunity to play for the show, I feel like the show always gets the absolute best out of me, and the time & space I currently occupy with my music tastes and preferences. The NDYD Radio Show EP260 - guest mix by aJaX

Here it is. My full live set from last Saturday's gig at Supernova in Seattle. Prob one of the most fun gigs I've had since the end (in air quotes) of the pandemic. The energy of the heads there was so contagious that it just got me going and I all I could do is dig deeper and deeper to keep everyone on the dance floor (which really wasn't that hard cause they like to get down and boogie). 

Speaking of Seattle, let's not forget my partner in musical crime @ajax-6. He was our guest last week and he played just before me at Supernova and really got the place pumped up. You heard how good his set was last week(EP 260), and he raised that bar even more when he played live. All I had to do was add a little more fuel to the fire he started 

Thank you Seattle and I can't wait to come back to make you dance again. If you were there that night I hope the sets brings you good memories of the good times we had. Enjoy!

Ricardo Torres is a West Coast DJ whose sound blends deep, soulful house and disco with the smooth, sun-kissed energy of Los Angeles. His mixes are crafted for true dance floor devotees—uplifting, groovy, and deeply rooted in the underground.

Ricardo began his DJ journey in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, later discovering Chicago House and falling in love with its raw emotion and rhythm. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he found inspiration in the city’s soulful spirit and from influential DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs.

An early pioneer of online mix sharing in 2000, Ricardo quickly gained international recognition, leading to global performances and radio syndication. In 2016, he partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD) to launch the NDYD Radio Show, a weekly showcase of modern Nu Disco and soulful house that continues to attract a devoted worldwide audience.
