“This is a tribute to Def Leppard and the KERRANG! guitar driven radio hits I grew up on. I am talking “Rocket”, “Let’s Get Rocked” “Teenage Dirtbag”, “Beverly Hills”, “Stacy’s Mom”, “She Hates Me”. My idea was to twist the Summer anthem and create something epic and fun for the stay at home Rockers - complete with Def Leppard inspired gang vocals and a space station communication loop and 90’s/00’s overdrive drenched guitar fizz. I revisited this session from 2023 so I could use my ever developing skills to add more joy, energy and excitement to the mix. To my ear it is now even more of an anthem than ever before. PLAY LOUD. So Jo and I found ourselves spontaneously firing lines of lyics off at each other on some sort of Mad poetry binge--After these Seething pots of words were left to simmer and percolate Kimchee style--a small percentage of the words and ideas got stuck together somehow and cohesion was attained:)  i then sent Jo another big  pile of guitar stems, 5 in all--
Jo at this point put on his producer's hat and proceeded to form all this noise and racket into a most beautiful series of tunes which by the way is still in process-- An amazing job !! i am honored by his efforts--pure genius!!
