Zebra Muscles is an ordinary DJ with a weird obsession for digging up music often left buried. Based in Sacramento he’s more at ease with his giant black dog than chasing fame. Driven by pain and a stubborn streak, he runs Psychic Zebra, his label, straight into the dirt. He’s not here for glory, just the kick of forcing obscure tunes on friends who’d rather not listen.

Daniel Monaco is a multi-talented artist, producer, and bass player known for his unique fusion of Italo Disco, Proto House, Obscure Disco, and a captivating tropical touch. With a deep-rooted passion for music and an innate talent for creating infectious beats, Monaco has carved out a distinctive sonic identity that transports listeners to a vibrant and sun-soaked musical realm.

Based in Chicago, R&D is a music event/mix series focused on nurturing new sounds, experiences and atmospheres while exploring the music and culture it was born or mutated from. Techno, electro, EBM, bass, breaks, club and beyond.
