A fan favorite, The Nightmare Before Christmas; featuring the opening song This Is Halloween, written by the one and only Danny Elfman. Many know this piece to be a prime example of the Danny Elfman style. A style so unique a single key signature can't be used. This arrangement is a fun arrangement for an advanced solo string chamber group to perform, putting the technical abilities of the player to a test. Alternating between near-spiccato, to flowing phrases everyone involved is sure to enjoy it.

This is originally composed music. This particular piece was written as the Fanfare and Overture, taking this style out of a broadway or musical production. Traditionally a fanfare is played before the musical or performance begins as a way to let everyone in the house know that the show is starting.
This music was composed in 2008 when I was 18, so there's a bit of a difference from this music and that which I produce today. Much of this music doesn't use a full orchestra, but usually the instruments I was most comfortable writing for at the time. The line that was said in the play just before this piece was "Bring these to your father." This was at the tail-end of the first scene. The music is queued because the scene quickly goes from a light-hearted meal to an intense conversation at the table about witches.

In high school I was commissioned to write some soundtrack music for a production the drama class was doing of The Salem Witch Trials.
This is originally composed music. This is one of my favorite pieces, not only because of where the musical inspiration came from, but it really created the feeling I need the listener to feel during the scene. The music begins when the main characters in the play, an accused witch, goes to the town market place to shop. While in town, as she shops, the entire town is staring, and gossiping about her. The scene plays out as the main character circles vendor carts, and tensions rise in town.
Any Disney fan will know where the inspiration for the piece came from.

In 2015 I was commissioned by a local small news reporter to create a short intro theme for his news station. This guy had started with just a police scanner, and his car. He would arrive at incident and news worth location before any other news outlet, and sometimes before local authorities or emergency services. He built his business from there. This piece is played during the opening credits of his news broadcast.

This piece is very different than the others, in that the orchestra was added after the performance audio. There's an even that takes place where singers and musicians from around the nation, and a few from around the world come to sing and share music. A well-known vocalist in one of the Christian sectors named Isaiah Brooks sang at this event. In my opinion the musicians that played for this singer didn't match the energy the performer brought, and thus dampened the overall performance of this song. With that feeling, I took the audio and imported it into my composition software and added a full orchestra to back Isaiah's performance. The only instrumentation in the live recording is a piano, organ, and electric guitar. All other instrumentation of the full orchestra was added many years later.
Full orchestra instrumentation includes some of the following: A full woodwind section, a full brass section, several mallet percussion, timpani, taiko drums, a full string section, and an Aah's choir.

Champion Of Love: sung by Isaiah Brooks

The La Fontaine family is a well known, gifted singing and musically inclined family. They produced a life performance in a small church, and this song "Something Keeps Holding Me" was sang as part of that set. I love the song, and loved the live recording so much that I had to add orchestra to it. I do not take credit for the words or the music, the only credit I retain are those of the arrangement, orchestration, and post-production of this piece. I hope you enjoy it! Lots of french horn, per usual.

Something Keeps Holding Me

Hello everyone! I'm a hobbiest musician, composer, arranger, conductor. I've been playing the piano since I was seven, and have picked up several other instruments along the way. Through life I've been hesitant to let others hear my work, but due to recent feedback from others it seems that people like what I do, thus I'm sharing with a broader audience. Please let me know what you think! I hope you enjoy everything you hear.
Typically I compose and arrange for full, large orchestras of 80 pieces or so. However, there are a few smaller ensemble pieces that I have done for chamber groups to sell in online marketplaces. Growing up as a Christian I have noticed a huge hole in music for large orchestral arrangements of Christian/Gospel music, and I've dedicated a lot of time of the years making large orchestral arrangements of this religious music. In addition to the religious music you will find a lot of Disney arrangements, some for orchestra, some for chamber groups, and even a few for marching band. When I was in high school, there was such a lack of Disney music available for marching band, so I've set out to fill that hole.
Since I just launched this sound cloud account, I will be working to add more completed tracks as soon as I can.
