Awesome relatable lyrics, outstanding vocals and harmony parts... love the music, this is an incredible song!!!!!  I have always loved sad songs, cuz they make me happy!!!!!!!!!!

Owls & Hazelmen in sweet, sweet harmony! There is definitely a bubbling joy in this song - as if by acknowledging the sad moments, we are released from them...beautiful track, looking forward to the album!

New b-side from Australian indie-folk artist Owls of the Swamp (aka Pete Uhlenbruch) recorded & mixed in Melbourne in June 2013 by James McGauran (White Wolf Compositions) at White Wolf Studios.

Features special guest Mick Hazelman (The Hazelman Brothers) on electric guitar and backing vocals.

The song was inspired during a 2012 tour of Czech Republic when Pete was playing all his favourite songs to a friend and realised after a few hours that all his favourite songs were sad, and that for him, happiness is indeed a sad song.

No instruments were harmed in the making of this track.
