Since I barely squeaked by into round 2 of the Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch this year, I figured let's do something wild.

This is the first time I've tried to write a "true" jazz piece - something along the lines of the pop jazz artists of the 2010s (Roy Hargrove, Soil & PIMP Sessions, J.A.M., etc). Think a fast-paced downtown jazz scene with trains and busses running at full-tilt. I'm a huge fan of upbeat rhythmic jazz and making this was a ton of fun.

"Transitions II" is the second chapter of the "Transitions" trilogy concept which began with the previous EP, back in November 2019. 
All these songs, mostly around 1 minute and half of length, are part of the "piano microstores" project, which has been developed last year on my IG profile consisting in releasing one short piano story per day during all the summer season.
