Borrowed Identity is a chameleon in the electronic music scene. You can catch him playing a groovy house set or he can turn up and bang out uncompromising industrial techno if that’s the vibe of the night.

His sets are mostly a mix of house, techno, disco/funk and afrobeat but he can also focus on one sound and take the crowd in one direction when the dancefloor needs it. He tries to give the crowds he is playing for everything they need to let go and lose their minds, thats why he doesn’t stick to one sound like so many Djs at the moment with their one dimensional styles. Instead of creating an easy to promote image as a DJ he is trying to catch the vibe in every venue and goes with the flow of the people.

Borrowed Identity has already played many of the renowned clubs in Europe and most parts of the world. He also already released all kinds of sounds and styles on important labels like Let’s Play House, Ostgut Ton, Mistress and Quintessentials.

Today, Borrowed Identity maprovides a hypnotic remix of Miajica's 'Der Schlosser' for the very very late hours of a party.

Eats Everything gets the shindig in swing with the ‘Chitter Chatter’, a sought-after dub version that’s been a staple of his sets for a while now. Humming with fuzzy weight and a head-turning detuned key riff on the fills, it sets the shuffle for the deeper, left-side tech funk grooves to follow. Maintaining the alien-landing eeriness, existential narrative and loafing bassline, the Brooklyn duo bring it up to date with a soft-but- stern jack that really pops on the second drop and brings their dubby signature to life. Classic Border Community feels that turn everything into a slo-mo sunset, Stefano’s ability to nice things up has impressed since his label debut in 2013. It won't come as too much of a surprise that our favourite track on XOA's new EP comes in the form of a Byron The Aquarius remix as the young producer has been on fine form recently.

We premiered 'The Love Below' back in June and we knew that the Detroit producer had fire in his locker and this new edit of 'In So' is another house masterclass. Check it below and drift off to the clouds.

my personal favourite track from the new e.p.. it has a real band feel to me with the drummer playing sidestick on the snare and everyone keeping an eye on each other for the changes. the changes were supposed to feel like when a train goes into a dark tunnel and comes out into the light at the other end. the squonking ornette coleman sound is one of my favourite discoveries on the buchla music easel.
