Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Adhémar. He is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work.
This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJ set, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.
He released his music on labels: Oslated, Huinali Recordings, Lett Records, KVLTÖ, Aarden Records, Secuencias Temporales, Diffuse Reality...

Stoke to present you last contributor of 2021 in the person of Adhémar: the french artist/producer/Dj gifts us with a set oscillating between liquidish sound distortions & poetic brush strokes, including various unreleased material of his own. The tight percussions, the reverbing drums leave space in between rythms to sober, near meditative atmospheres. Please welcome him w. this typical beautiful ambient journey of his, which evokes a painting of a walk into a forest, and a touch of mystery. Thank you so much Adhémar! <3

The power of narrative in music allows him to confront more psychological and philosophical aspects, with a focus on what is 'Alive, what surrounds us' (whether material or immaterial world, i.e the fact everything is constantly 'becoming'). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own productions or DJsets, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations, as well as the light and poetic transportation of it all.

In the recent years alongside his releases (Oslated, Huinali Recordings, Lett Records, Aarden Records, Secuencias Temporales, Diffuse Reality...) Adhémar created « Aucuba Replica »  together with Olorun:
The botanical genus Aucuba includes species of shrubs native to Central Asia or Japan. The premise is that plants can be multiplied and reborn almost identically yet each individual remains unique. This idea of multiplication and artificial landscape defines Aucuba Replica, as an emanation of both the individual practice of the Duo, by collecting sounds that combine organic and artificial elements, bringing out the possibility to perceive landscape as an audible geography."

Ridoe operates within a vast range of deep, electronic music with a focus on hypnotic, mesmerising tracks that tingle your senses. As curator and resident of Deep Space Series, he’s able to share this vision and invite artists with a shared passion and interest for these deep and psychedelic sounds.

“I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do for this mix. So I decided to just hit record and see what comes out of it. The end result is a mix of emotional, atmospheric tracks and some deep, hypnotic grooves. A bit of ambiguity never hurt anybody, I guess”

The snowfalls of recent days has melted under the new moon and we are finally ready to turn another page in The Memoir.

This time we're greeted by the blissful beats of @tokifuko who's sounds and work with his outboard gear has been inspiring us lately. His music can be described as "mechanical signals structured into a hypnotic substance".

"I always liked tactile music writing and I've always wanted to control the electric wave by using drum machines locking them into a chain. It was hard for me to get results with the use of virtual instruments which led to the purchase of my first synthesizer. As a result, it has become an experiment in search for new forms and a race for the best sound in order to achieve better results."

Recently this talented producer released a wonderful EP on @silent-season which is well worth checking out.

Prior Act has a preference for free spirited people/set lengths, esp. toward Live sets and vinyl building approach (since Day One).
