Alessandro Rebella (Ale Rebi) classe '73, savonese, si avvicina alla musica funk attraverso il cinema blaxploitation e soprattutto di genere italiano anni 60/70 (è tuttora uno dei tre gestori/collaboratori della Pollanet Squad, punto di riferimento per gli amanti del poliziesco all'italiana anni 70); la passione per il cinema di genere italiano lo porta a collezionare sin dall'adolescenza colonne sonore, soprattutto, poliziesche dove il "crime funk" di artisti del​ calibro, ad esempio, del maestro Micalizzi lo introduce a quel tipo di sound. Amante, inoltre, delle sonorità disco/funk/pop, made in Italy, anni 70/80 e' sempre alla ricerca di 45 giri o album che possano portare alla luce gemme italiane del passato il più delle volte oscure e sconosciute. Proprio per questo, all'inizio del 2022, ha dato vita a DISCOPONENTE un progetto che attraverso i djset, principalmente in giro.per la Liguria, si propone di fare conoscere e diffondere quella che ama definire "Musica nuova dal passato".....Enjoy the Mix!!

DISCLAIMER: #ItaloTrance is not an actual genre name, although I've seen some artists/labels using #ItaloTrance tag to promote their releases. But, in a world where the boundaries between various electronic music genres are becoming less clear every year, where there's a "new" electronic music genre every couple of years or less, I think that #ItaloTrance is something that we deserve and need. Even if not an actual genre name (yet?), #ItaloTrance is definitely a feeling!

This week our guest mix on Mutant Disco Radio Show is Tetsumasa a Japanese electronic music producer originally from Nagoya City.
Deeply inspired by Downtempo, Hip-Hop, Glitch, Dub and bass music in general, he started producing music under the alias of 'Devecly Bitte' delivering some full-length works for both European and Asian Labels back in the early 2000's.
Currently based in Berlin since 2016, he signed two EP albums on SAIDAN and Arboretum labels, which accurately portrayed his organic and deeply cinematic sounds-aesthetic also encompassing his affinity to the Industrial and Techno scene.
