Jungist is Hong Kong born, Eora based DJ, producer and promoter. Known for their "Generalist-specialist" approach to DJing, their sonic palette is broad and deep. A champion of the rave, their selections are dark, gritty, genre-blending and rhythmically informed. Jungist can also be found soundtracking libraries, natural wine bars and community radio with her soft-touch and love for chill-out dub and liquid, jazzy jungle. Jungist holds a residency at FBi Radio with their show "Variable Depth Audit" - taking listeners through bass-wise experiments for the City's comedown needs, flexing her deep knowledge and ear for cutting edge sound.

Jungist is a versatile as they come, shelling jungle, drill, Techno and dubstep to the occasional house, disco and UKG set. Her dedication to the electronic music continuum has landed lineups with international heavyweights including Air Max 97’, Loefah, Goth-Trad, RSD, Pariah, Chase & Status, Flava D, DJ Marky, DJ Plead, C.Frim, Mad Zach and Keeno. Jungist has DJ'ed in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Hong Kong and Taiwan. 

Co-founder and curator of Decay Audio, Jungist offers a platform for artists to take on a dark and experimental aesthetic with their events and mix series. Boosting the local scene and plugging international sounds, the mix series has become a much loved staple in the community and a place for discovery and uninhibited self expression. 

Jungist's debut release 'Dark Room' came out in 22' and features on the Bass Water Freak Out compilation. Since getting on the DAW, Jungist has since released 'I've Lost Something' on Melbourne based label Back Pocket Slammers and 'Presence' under the collaborative moniker 'Swungist' with Sydney based artist Swisherman.

With no two sets the same, she experiments with a diverse range of genres, tapping into anything from Acid Tech & Breaks, to Psy, Prog & Minimal. 

Supporting acts featuring the likes of DJ Boring, Sam Alfred, Stum, Human Movement, Ollie Lishman & Crush3d, Where’s Molly will bring you nothing but sonic rave mixed with full time funk.
