I was knocked out when Jimmy offered this beautiful song to me to sing, but then it took me 3 months to build up the confidence and to practice it. Jimmy is one of my favourite singers on SC (or anywhere) and he makes everything sound easy as he is so professional, so I hope you don't mind my take on this. This song explores the good and bad in all of us.  We're all incredibly complex beings, and we all live with our internal demons.  The lyrics regarding a fly buzzing around an incandescent are a tongue-and-cheek reference to The Exorcist movie.  :)  There's a balance that we all try to maintain; some fail, some exceed,  but the vast majority of us live in the middle ground, the grey.

Living With The Demons

Hi, 
While my studio room is being rebuilt, I only have limited access to my equipment and not nearly enough time to create lots of new stuff.

I did find the time to go through my archives and thought to remix this little piece.
It's an original 4-track cassette recording from 1997 (I think), I retreated the individual tracks with fancy VST's and ran the guitar through an impulse response of my VS100 amp. It sounds much better now.

The studio room is really getting together, a couple more weeks and I'll have it up and running again.
