El sonido de kalashnifonk se ha ido forjando con el paso del tiempo,ensayando, improvisando, buscando nuevos patrones en los que sumergirse, combinando las raíces de la música negra con sonidos más actuales, mirando siempre a la cultura del hip hop, funk y reggae.
Donde más disfrutan es en los directos, para ello Kalashnifonk cuenta con varios colaboradores que hacen que cada concierto sea diferente. Entre ellos están una sección de vientos, cantantes de rap, bailarines de
breakdance y proyecciones de video en directo.

It is also dynamic because of its three different vocalist’s styles, wind section arrangements, loops, synthesizers and samples. KALASHNIFONK’s live performances invite the audience to travel from the most classical roots of African-American music such as jazz, funk, soul, to the most pure essence of actual music such as hip-hop, acid jazz and ragga.
