Yet another winter composition...It was inevitable, since more snow arrived this week and we hiked in the woods afterwards.  The stillness was peaceful and the crisp air invigorating.  Spring is just a few weeks away (hopefully!), but the winter season brings its own serenade of beauty and tranquility.

Some silences are active: they breathe, they change, they remember. In the void beyond meaning, thoughts fluctuate without sequence, and identity dissolves in waves of colorless rhythm. The self stops, and what remains is a pulse that belongs to no one. Faces bloom in fiction, and love forgets how to undulate. Even the future casts shadows here.
