Chus' music style is a delicious blend of Organic House, warm and intense with a vital and deep tribal essence which fuses naturally with melodic  sounds, percussions and drums. 

The founder of Stereo Productions was born and raised in Madrid, Spain and is one of the main creators of the pioneering Iberican Sound. Over 25 years of music legacy on labels such as Defected, Nervous, and his Stereo Productions show his wide range of music styles and unlimited love for different genres, earning him residencies worldwide and many awards collected throughout his career.

Redolent Music is his most recent project, a new independent record label created alongside Spanish DJ & producer La Santa, with the purpose to cater to the evolving music industry and to develop emerging talent.

 His personal endeavor the "One Man Show” was launched by Shimza a decade ago in Temibisia, South Africa to raise funds for underprivileged children in his local community.

Aside from sharing his music, Shimza’s mission is to alter the manner in which South Africa’s youth consume content while encouraging them to use the medium of music to fuel education. Shimza firmly believes that this fusion of music and culture is the best way to engage audiences in topics that encompass South Africa’s rich history while also encouraging social cohesion in modern times.

There are tracks that are being released exclusively in South Africa and may not have a proper master at all. They just float around and disappear again - even though some have huge potential. One of them is Da Capo’s “Umbovukazi”. There is this outstanding percussion lick and a super heavy daring break. This jam tears dancefloors apart, everywhere in the world. Deep, percussion driven, full of energy. Now it is finally getting properly released after having almost 1 million plays on Youtube in a poor quality version.

Collectively our members are from Nigeria, Benin, The United States, Congo Germany, Senegal and Ethiopia. We are heavily inspired by African House music, and equality, diversity and social justice is at the core of our identity.

We strive to create spaces where people can feel safe to express themselves, no matter their ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or social status. 

We aim to distill and deliver some of the core tenets of African music, namely dance and emotion, to provide some color and warmth in Berlin’s harsh grayscale palette.
