In the mystic realm of 1960s Chicago, Terry Callier, a troubadour of folk jazz and soul, graced the shadowed stages of underground clubs and  coffeehouses. 

In 1972, he released his "Candyman“, a truly powerful seven minute bass-driven soul groove.

After retiring as a musician in the 1980s, Callier's music was discovered by some of London's trip-hop legends in the early 1990s. They invited him for recording sessions, which led to a late taste of commercial success.

In 2024, MAUGLI is taking over, sending "Candyman" on yet another journey with modern sampling techniques.

“El tañido” es una colaboración entre Yemanjo y el extraordinario multi instrumentista David Satori. David, mundialmente conocido por sus queridos grupos electroacústicos Beats Antique y Dirtwire, presta aquí sus habilidades con el violín. El tema es una mezcla exótica pero familiar de house downtempo con elementos de “blues del desierto” de África occidental, anclados por una línea melódica de trompeta y violín.

El sonido de Yemanjo es una fusión única de ritmos house orgánicos y downtempo con sonidos tradicionales de América Latina, África y Oriente Medio. Durante los últimos cinco años, Yemanjo ha estado de gira por todo el mundo y ha lanzado prolíficamente con los principales sellos del género, como Cosmic Awakenings y Cafe de Anatolia, y lanzará un álbum de larga duración para Wonderwheel Recordings el 10 de mayo de 2024.

🎸David Satori :

David Satori es un aventurero musical. Nacido en Burlington VT, David se inspiró en la rica escena musical local y comenzó a tocar la guitarra y la batería a la edad de 13 años. David produjo su primer álbum original con su banda Bubble Tribe en 1997 cuando estaba en el último año de la escuela secundaria y continuó estudiando. música en CalArts en Los Ángeles, graduándose con una licenciatura en Composición e Interpretación en 2001.

Flowerpowder are Boudewijn Zeldenthuis (17) and Gerolf Naaktgeboren (15) from the small Dutch town of Nijmegen (The Netherlands). Fleeing the rural monotony and boredom of Nijmegen at a very early age to travel to Eindhoven, they first met their idols at legendary 1990s clubs like "De Feijnster", "Sytstem X" or "Paradisco".
First sonic experiments soon resulted in notable releases and high profile bookings in reputable clubs all around the globe. Heavily influenced by their first long-distance flight to Trinidad and Tobago in the incredibly hot summer of 2005, both producers started to reconcile their beneluxian musical preferences with a pinch of afro-base and zambo-rave. In their comeback release "Sprizztour EP" Flowerpowder are reinventing the idea of transparent aestival dance music with an irresistible groovy drive while staying rigorously faithful to their roots in Dutch ambient trance techno. Although their ascent to the very top of the global EDM elite does not seem to ever slow down, Boudewijn and Gerolf have managed to stay grounded and never refuse to have - as they say - "a dutchi with the brudis".

Ogun or Ogoun is a god that appears in several African religions.
He is awarrior and a powerful spirit of metal work, as well as of
rum and rum-making. He is also known as the 'god of Iron', and is present in Yoruba religion, Haitian Vodou, andWest African Vodun.
In Yoruba religion, Ogun is a primordial orisha who first appeared as a hunter named Tobe Ode. He is said to have been the first Orisha to descend to the realm of Ile Aiye ("Earth"), to find a suitable place for future human life. In some traditions, he is said to have cleared a path for the other gods to enter Earth, using a metal ax and with the assistance of a dog. To commemorate this, one of his praise names, or oriki, is Osin Imole or the "first of the primordial Orisha to come to Earth". He is the god of war and metals.
