The new FRiends and Family mix is live! For episode 45, we have a real treat from @shadyackk, just under an hour of club rhythms and techno bass explorations. Shadya is a DJ, producer, and resident for the Tempio Nero nights in Montreal. She has been the founder and label manager of @chezkitokat since 2006 and has been involved in music through writing lyrics and poetry since 1996. She was part of the electro-synth pop band Beat For Sale as a singer and performer (2006–2014). At the same time, she toured as an artist in France, Canada, and the US. Her mixing explores the dark side of techno. At the moment, she is working on new tracks and a live set.

In addition to her work as an artist, she is a music journalist for Panm360. She supports inclusive night life culture (MTL24H/24H, FANTOM), intersectional feminism, and fights against systemic racism.

For mix number 16 in the PPRZ Podcast series, we have a mix from Italy's @lensis

Lensis is a musical project created by Francesco Giannuzzi, born in Varese in 1987.  His journey began in 2009, playing at various clubs and festivals between Varese and Milan.  His DJ sets are characterized by acid, dark, Detroit, rave, and electro sounds, influenced by IDM and ambient music. 

In 2012, he released his first tracks, "So Acid" and "Another Taunt," on P.T.R. (Physical Techno Recordings).  In 2015, he co-founded the Fluctus Soul label with his friend Marco Bove, releasing the EP "Haneke" and the 2018 EP "Cosmic Research." The latter featured a notable remix by G-MAN, a member of the renowned British duo LFO. DJ MAG magazine reviewed it as follows: "a selection of galactic Techno and supercharged energy with enough dynamism and flair to take any party to a higher plane." A preview of the single "Neptune" was also released.  

In 2020, Lensis participated in and won the remix contest for the single "Blaze" by Marco Bailey & David Schwarz, released on the MATERIA label.  In 2022, Lensis released two new EPs on Sector Audio and Diffuse Reality Records.  Francesco collaborates with Tech Clubbers as a resident DJ and co-organizer of their events.
