Mia Kaltes, a Swiss-Italian DJ and musician, has been performing in a variety of clubs, festivals and other events in Europe since 2004. Born into a family of musicians, Mia’s mother is a pianist and she trained as a violinist from the age of 6. She also played the drums as a second instrument. Today, she plays several instruments, for relaxation, on his Dr. Dance Project, and for accompanying Yin Yoga lesson, since 2019, sometimes also with other musicians, for special events. She makes, across Dr. Dance Project, individual or grouped sound healing sessions also since 2019, in the old city of Biel/Bienne.

“Making people dance and offering them a place to escape to, is what makes me tick”, stated Mia. For her, music is very specific in different moments, so she never limits herself to only one kind of musical style. Her guiding principle “Escape Through Music” is all about vibrations. And music is the remedy for everybody.
She already shared the stage with: Feathered Sun, Voodoohop, Chris Schwarzwälder, Mira, Milo Häfliger Canson, Britta Arnold, Nico Sun, Doubtingthomas, Cesare Disorder, Benjamin Fehr, Luluxpo, Manon, Don Ramon, San Marco, Gogo, Arutani, Alexander Robotnick, and many more.

We could hear her play this year in Katerblau and Sisyphos in Berlin. In Milan at BUKA parties, in Zurich at Frieda’s Büxe and at Lush Play – a “deep, slow & emotional” party concept, that is hosted in different underground locations throughout the year. In Bern she played at Kapitel, Frauenraum and Cafete (Reitschule), just to name a few. Furthermore, she’s already been twice to the Chocolate Festival and to Folklor in Lausanne and travelled several times to Prague to play. A confident DJ who has learned to master the dancefloor. You feel her love for music in every one of her sets. She can feel what people want and need in a particular moment and she is always ready for that. She uses her sensibility like a power. Her pleasure is producing and sharing music for dancing, chilling, flying, meditating, or whatever you feel like. One thing is certain, her music is always deep and emotional, regardless of the direction and speed of the music. She plays vinyl whenever possible, but she also plays digital on 4 decks with Traktor using two MIDI controllers.

Experiences/Releases:

DJ, producer, and event originator for the label FINEFOOD RECORDS, since 2011, the song: “Elegance is Destroyed”, created with David Fjörgenson, and remixed by Seph and Ryan Hawkin was the first vinyl release of the label, in 2013. In February 2017, she and her friend, Abused Disco, released the album “Papillon”, composed of two tracks (Techno/Tech House) under the Swiss label: THE LIMBIIC SYSTEM RECORDS.

Wir präsentieren: Barabass 💫 
Er verquirlt diverse Genres der elektronischen Musik zu einem Potpourri an ekstatischer Entschleunigung. Slow aber zornig, mit ner ordentlichen Portion Verspultheit! Stets melodisch wohl temperiert serviert er: „Trallafitti im Faultiermodus und Acid im Schneckentempo.“
Neben einigen Auftritten in Hamburger Clubs wie Yoko, Fabrique und Prinzenbar, durfte Barabass auch schon Clubs außerhalb der Hansestadt mit seinem Sound begeistern. So spielte er schon auf dem Klangtherapie Festival, dem Bachblyten Festival, im Kesselhaus in Augsburg, der Nachtigall in Köln und in der Bagatelle in Zürich.

2019 beginnt er, mit einem kleinen @fetepetete Kollektiv, eigene Clubveranstaltungen und Open Airs in Hamburg zu veranstalten. Dort finden verschiedenste Künstler:innen der gedrosselten Extase einen Platz für ihre verspulten Gedanken.

Down The Rabbit Hole Festival, you were  E p i c !!
Every morning I kicked it off at 11.00 with a Morning Rave. Together with an amazing team of Coloured Creatures we guided people into a lovely new day with an energy bomb. It was an experiment for all of us, creating this kind of experience together. And everyday the Morning Rave evolved. I expected maybe 20 - 50 people that early in the barn, but we ended up raving with more then 200 people - WHAT an explosion of energy! 
This recording is the second day. We started slowly, gathering around in a circle. Stretching, relaxing, waking up our body. From minute 16 we sat on the ground doing intensive breathwork guided by Anne. Really powerfull to breath deeply with so many people together. From there Sonja took over, guiding the audience to explore and liberate our soul by making everybody move - from tigers on the ground "I wanna hear everybody's RRAAWWRR!!" (the sound and energy of 200 people doing so was just crazy :D) to funfireflaming phoenixes. Everybody going wild -- you can pretty sure say... it was Mbuki Mvuki energy all over the place!! So here it is, maybe for a Mbuki Mvuki start of your day, to dance a little and enjoy your day <3

We took over the decks from Ali Kuru who already created a vibrating atmosphere! From the beginning till the end of our performance people were so open, enthusiastic and dedicated! „Solidarity mustn’t just be in our heads. We need to live it or better
dance it.“


Unter dem Stern der Solidarität hat sich eine ganz besondere Truppe zusammen geschlossen. Sie verbindet und organisiert sich für mehr gelebte Solidarität. Die „Solidarisch tanzen“ Crew setzt seit Beginn des Jahres mit ihren Projekten  Zeichen. Ihre Botschaft: Tanzen für mehr Nächstenliebe. Verbindet Menschen, in einer Zeit in der Freiräume knapper werden und Projekte wie der Jonny Knüppel um ihre Existenz ringen!

Letzter Streich der Bande, ein „Save Jonny Knüppel“ Tanzflohmarkt bei dem stattliche 2.400€ für das Berliner Kunst- und Kulturprojekt zusammen gekommen sind. Im Rahmen der Kunstperformance einer Sprachwerkstatt konnten Supporter*innen ihre persönlichen Gedanken zum geliebten Knüppel aussprechen und aufnehmen lassen.

Das „Solidarisch tanzen“ Mitglied Liebkose kreiert hier in einer Sound-Sprach-Collage eine Reise durch die Köpfe der Menschen, die sich dem Knüppel verbunden fühlenSie erzählen warum es so wichtig ist eine Stätte wie den Jonny Knüppel zu retten und wann wir wirklich frei sind. Hört die Stimmen und lauscht dem Herzen der Musik. Kreativ, kollaborativ, radikal musikalisch.

Die Knüppel Crowdfunding Kampagne wurde um zwei Wochen verlängert, Yeah. Lasst und noch mal Segel setzen und Ruder bewegen, denn wir sind unterwegs und es ist Land in Sicht.

Alles für den Knüppel, alles für Jonny.

Die unendliche Geschichte (Reinterpretation)

Der Beginn des Winters. Der Atem wird sichtbar. Die junge Qelosa ist auf dem Weg zu ihrer Lieblingsbibliothek. Sie lebt zusammen mit ihrer Mutter in einer kleinen Wohnung. Der Vater ist verunglückt. Seitdem zieht sich das junge Mädchen immer mehr zurück in ihre Lieblingswelt. Die grenzenlose Welt der Bücher. Kurz vor ihrer Lieblingsbibliothek sieht sie, dass kein Licht brennt. Ist die Bibliothek geschlossen? Es ist doch Samstag. Qelosa versucht ihr Glück und geht an die Tür der Bücherei. Sie ist einen Spalt offen. Sie tritt hinein und wundert sich. Hat Bixa, der Biobliotheksaufseher, vergessen die Türe abzusperren? Sie ruft nach ihm. Keine Antwort. Sie betätigt den Lichtschalter und macht sich auf zu ihrer Lieblingsabteilung. Fantastische Geschichten und Märchen. Dort kann sie sich am besten verlieren. Mit all den Fabelwesen, Kreaturen, Königen, Jongleuren und Prinzessinnen. Sie sucht sich eine ruhige Ecke und nimmt ein schillerndes, leuchtendes Buch zur Hand.
Nach einer Weile des Lesens, beobachten sie ihre Umgebung. Sie hat sich verändert. Wo befindet sie sich gerade? Ist sie noch in der Bibliothek? In weiter Ferne sieht sie Bixa, der in der Form einer Kreuzung zwischen Giraffe und Frosch erscheint. Ein Friraff. Qelosa erkennt seine Gesichtszüge. Sie eilt zu ihm. Vor ihr bricht ein riesiges Loch in die Erde. Bixa, in der Gestalt eines Friraff, fällt hinein. Unter tosendem Gebrummel und hoffnungslosem Geschrei, wirft das Friraff dem jungen Mädchen ein Amulett und eine Rolle entgegen. «Hilf mir, erfüll deinen Auftrag und rette Fantarsi!»
Ihr stockt der Atem. Sie nimmt das mächtige Amulett auf sich und hängt es um ihren Hals. Als sie die Papierrolle öffnet und darin beginnt zu lesen, wird sie kreidebleich.
Ein Rätsel. Sie sollte sich losmachen, aber wohin? Sie umgibt ein Gefühl, seit sie das Amulett an sich trägt. 
Wo befindet sie sich und was ist ihr widerfahren? Sie macht sich auf den Weg...

#012: Sun Drine || Die unendliche Geschichte

Aufm Rummel gibts keine Karten mehr abzureißen, im Grand Hotel Buchtapest kann niemandem mehr die Koffer gereicht werden und die Zeitmaschine gen Dino-Tal wurde ebenfalls auf Standby geschaltet. Dieses Home-Office, das wollten wir jetzt ausprobieren und euch einen Podcast auf die Laptopscheibe schmieren! Zehn Mal bimmelts Mittwochs, so um Zwölfe rum. Hört rein und freut euch, dass eure Däumchen nun im Takte drehen können.

Trommelwirbel! - Die Manege verdunkelt sich. Im verbleibenden Lichtkegel des an die Decke gerichteten Scheinwerfers steht @eldomjan auf einem Gerüst hoch oben unterm Zeltdach.  Haltet den Atem an, denn gleich schwingt er sich und seine Musik durch eure Köpfe und malt ganz nebenbei noch mit links ein schönes Artwork für den nächsten verbimmelt-Podcast.

After years of traveling and changing residencies, Chrystal Chris arrived in Berlin where she soon met Sawatzki. 
Their strong love for deep, complex electronic music led to their first performance, floating on a pristine lake - Saphear was born. 
As a trained jazz violinist with a classical background, Sawatzki improvises to Chrystal Chris' carefully curated selection of tracks, making each performance a unique experience.
Their sounds take you into ambient spheres of Avantgarde, Electronica, Deep House, UK Bass & Breaks and neo-classical sounds.
This fusion shines in its own uniqueness, resonating between sadness and felicity, light and darkness, yin and yang.
Like crystals thrive with other solute molecules, Saphear grows steadily by attracting people through their enthusiasm.
