Tim ist zwischen Anfang und Mitte Dreißig, zwischen Weserkiez und Böhmisch-Rixdorf, zwischen House und Techno. Geboren und aufgewachsen im Pott, verschlug es ihn wie so viele zwangsläufig nach Berlin. In Neukölln treibt er seit nunmehr 9 Jahren sein Unwesen und fand im Polymedialen Ponyhof ein zweites Zuhause. Als earthwormTIM erfreut er sich daran, fernab von subkultureller Tyrannei wohltuend Zerfließendes ans Ohr zu bringen. Musik zum aufstehenden Liegenbleiben, feiernden Weiterschlafen, arbeitenden Faulenzen oder sitzzappelnden Couchrave.

Mit seinem Bummeltechno/Voodoo-House hat mich Tim sofort begeistert … daraus ist auch sofort ein super Kontakt entstanden … da war schnell klar … hier muss auch was für sound(ge)cloud her … und es hat sich mehr als gelohnt … maximaller Dank liebe TIM für dieses tolle Werk …

His music dives deep through different perspectives, while investigating frequencies, rhythms and atmospheres. By mixing the colors of the different sounds of the world, latent states of consciousness are generated.

Since 2016, AnLz seeks to create auditory openings, allowing the entry of new sensations and emotions and ultimately resulting in a self-analysis of the listener. Accompanied by the atmospheres of the mountains and forests, where these combinations are created, AnLz invites to introspection and the discovery of new areas of the inner self.

Witchtape #51 | Guest Wizz : Disfunctional Disco

(Story continued from Witchtape #45)
The little witch was already flying for countless hours over an endless desert, steadily following her inner compass into South/South-Eastern direction.  She was starting to feel tired from all that flying.  Her head grew heavy and her sight grew dim.  She had to stop for the night.  Luckily, she was nearing the other side of the desert as she spotted a few shrubs in the distance.  After a while, she saw some patches of grass and a few beautiful giant trees as she flew over the African savanna.  On her right side there was a breathtaking sunset unfolding… it was high time to land and find a safe place to spend the night.  The witch saw no humans which meant the place was safe.  She landed at the foot of a majestic tree, but didn’t have much time to savor the glorious sunset, as a few hungry lions were stealthily approaching her, observing the witch from close quarter, preparing for a decisive lethal strike.  But while looking at the witch, a feeling of tenderness took hold of the lionesses.  Instead of attacking, they walked slowly into the direction of the girl, who started to talk with a soft voice to the queens of the savanna.  This drew the attention of even more lions and soon they were all lying at the feet of the witch, while she played and frolicked with a bunch of lion cubs - who especially loved to play with the girl’s long hair (the hair of a young witch is of an indescribable softness).  The leader of the pride welcomed the young witch and ordered the other animals to prepare a soft bed of grass for the exhausted girl.  And soon the little witch drifted into a blissful sleep in the middle of a circle of lions, whom had never ever experienced a similarly peaceful presence in the savanna… (to be continued in Witchtape #52)

The Space Between [023] - Retrograde (Live in Guatemala)

Welcome back to our anniversary menu! Today’s special is brought to by our dear friend, producer, dj and label boss, Landikhan. He mixed his favorite cocktail, a Pisco Sour, for Schirmchendrink.

To escape the city heat, Landikhan spends his summers on the beautiful white island, Ibiza. This is also where he mixed the Pisco Sour. Originally, „Landi“ is from Madrid, where he evolved as an electronic music artist and today is resident at the hotspot for underground electronic music, the Trueno nightclub.

His music is hard to categorize, so is his Pisco Sour by the way, as it has a unique experimental character. Landikhan is a master in mixing old with new, fast with slow, electronic with organic, to a new, piece of art.

Landikhan’s own productions are released on his own imprint as well as imprints such as Natura Sonoris, Magician on Duty, Constant Circles and more.

We asked Landikhan about the meaning of his name… he laughed and said that there is not a particular meaning about it. However, when it comes to his imprint, LNDKHN, he likes to refer to it as a thought provoking and artistic space composed of a group of multidisciplinary artists whose hearts beat as one. 

We think that’s pretty cool and we really do like his vibe. In this spirit, dear friends, raise your glasses to this fantastic sip. It’s not the usual, but it’s damn good, you’ll love it!
