Mashuping

This is the original various artists album 'A Night At Studio 54', mixed together by two of the original nightclub disc jockeys Marc Paul Simon and Roy Thode, executive produced by the original nightclub owners Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager and released in June 1979 by Casablanca Record & FilmWorks, Inc.

Despite the album's huge critical and commercial success, peaking at numbers 21 and 37 on the Billboard 200 and the R&B Albums respectively and certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales over 500,000 copies, it's been out of print since its original release and has not been released on compact disc.

According to Steve Rubell, this album is the equivalent of 'a night at Studio 54'. Therefore, it is the only album which deserves to carry the landmark of the Studio 54, the most exciting nightclub ever existed.
