Today, we're returning to the enchanting forests of the Spanish midlands and our beloved Delayed x Perpendicular series. We're excited to introduce a multidisciplinary artist whose work continues to inspire and surprise us - Javier Marimon. This Spaniard, who spent a significant time in the Far East exploring new cultures and perspectives, has been a key figure in the international underground music scene for many years. His unique approach to dub-infused techno, halftime, and experimental sounds infuses his creative process with playful energy, evident in his music production, DJing, and graphic design.
Those fortunate enough to meet Javier in person are immediately struck by his infectious charisma and positive energy. While his music often leans toward the deeper, dubbier, and darker realms of electronic music, there's always a sense of freedom and playfulness in the way he combines elements and creates different rhythms.
With that in mind, we're proud to present this special hybrid set that Javier played on Sunday midday at the Perpendicular Festival. The set is deep and dubby, with glitchy moments and meticulous attention to detail. The atmosphere Javier crafted perfectly matched the setting, and the set remains engaging from start to finish.
The scene needs more artists like Javier Marimon, whose creative contributions continue to inspire others. We're thrilled to feature this mix.

Delayed x Perpendicular: Javier Marimon (Hybrid Live)

Continuum: a coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees.

The fifth stop in our journey through The Continuum takes us to a land of tranquility, introspection and relaxation. And this exercise is guided by none other than Vand. And what can we say about his craft for those who haven't met him? A producer with a special touch for those sounds that tickle your brain, and a live performer who can also be found often behind the DJ decks. From solo lives to collaborative 5 people acts, Vand is as versatile as they come when it comes to improvising with electronics. But his sound, picking both from the deepest to the most playful, strikes a great balance for dancefloor and for "brainfloor". His project Isotoop (along with Shoal) recently materialized into wax, so seems appropriate that their first reference as Voal is our suggestion as a starting point to discover his sonic dishes. 

For The Continuum, Vand has prepared a set of deep and downtempo goodness. Expect ambient scapes, slow-ish beats and breaks, some evocative pads and emotional moments... he masterfully cooked a set that will work for a Zen moment, for a cocktail hour or for a comedown epiphany. 

We welcome Vand to our adventures through The Continuum.

The Continuum: Vand

Horizon is an electronic music project with cinematic accents, designed to offer an immersive experience, a journey through the galleries of imagination.

Composed of five tracks, this EP invites the listener to explore new worlds, sometimes real, often fictional, and at times far removed from our everyday life.

Each track is conceived as a soundtrack that could enhance images,
leaving everyone free to create their own narrative, inspired by these immersive soundscapes.

Through ethereal atmospheres, ethnical layers and deep rhythms, Lodzy offers a moment of active pause, an escape to the unknown, where we take the time to observe and let ourselves be guided by a simple horizon line.

An introspective adventure, evoking dreamlike scenes filled with poetry and mystery.

Monochrome presents, 𝖍𝖎𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝓥 : Caldera, Nummer Music.

This winter, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno, Drum & Bass and Tribe.

Artist biography :
Since 2012, Caldera has been creating a unique and personal blend of Techno and Bass music with a love for detail and a dedicated sound design that immerses listeners into imaginary worlds.
His experiments with drums and rhythms result in grooves that represent a new and fresh way of looking at dance music while exploring a deeper side of it and leaving bpm restrictions behind.
Caldera's creations have found a home on labels such as Berlin's Nummer Music, Chicago's Kimochi Sound and Bristol's Pressure Dome while his Loop LF moniker has previously been a mainstay on London based Well Street Records.

“For this mix I wanted to take a step back and create a very slow journey that only picks up the pace ever so slightly. It ended up being a symbolisation of this winter that is now slowly transitioning into spring with the first sunrays and warmth opening us all up for a new beginning. ”

On April 22nd, Mostra took over Espacio Perpendicular for a few hours.

Mostra is an independent, small-scale festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music that was born four years ago to nurture the Barcelona scene. Mostra is local, inclusive, and sustainable. An independent festival made in Barcelona for Barcelonans, but with international vision and reach.

The event, which took place during the day, featured performances by Mattikk, Emilia Grima, Pillen, Doozer, Haara, and F-on.

There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else.

Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one.

Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level.

If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year.

And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. A powerful tribute to what it means to support the local scene, not just by listing names from the city, but by creating moments like this one that matters.
