story behind this: i made this in 48 hours in December 2021 and around when i started getting into yoga. my yoga app generates a playlist for each session and i found the music so inspiring that i wanted to sample them into some holy type beats -- i ended up making an ep. <3

breaking every rule
just made a single loop and rather than trying to rewrite new melodies or arrangement, just played with lots of fx to add the variety to make
didn't focus much on mixing or mastering
not worrying about phasing issues with bass
ultra simple and repetitive - that can actually be a good thing sometimes. can be better to work to music like that - in the background
started with simple hi hats and randomly deleted some notes for interest

i've been been working on this ep all year after getting burned out by making wave. going back to my roots as a guitarist and making simple music was my healing process. more on this to come, but that's the gist.

i couldn't sing well at the start, but I learned by making this album. I'm still not great but I hope it can show that you don't need to be a great singer to write songs and express yourself.
