Message from Deane:

"Birdmen Jam" features the Nairobi Handdrum Ensemble drummers in Kenya. I asked them to help me with this and it ended up being a ton of fun for all of us.

Every note was played in live via Pulse controllers and sticks. No sequencing and zero quantization. I sent them a click and my kora track and they all played parts and sent me the MIDI files via email. We also recorded one session live via Skype to work out a few of the freestyle parts and all the chants.
