Italian pairing Ruff Stuff have been living quite a charmed existence of late. Known individually as Nanni & Francois, this house-loving pair have rocked up on a host of well-renowned labels, including Berlin Bass Collective, Neovinyl, Quality Vibe and King Street Sounds. However, it’s their work on their own label, the aptly names Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, for which they’re arguably best renowned. 
This mix showcases their signature house sound, and also further illustrates what rude health Italian house producers are currently in.... may also have something to do with living in Berlin of course.

The Interstate 55 project was born of a friendship between two young French and American students in 1995, during a warehouse party on the south side of Chicago. Press correspondents for Coda and Trax Magazine between Paris and Chicago for 3 years, the two guys helped promote the Midwest sound in Europe. Interviews with the biggest legends such as Paul Johnson, Derrick Carter, Cajmere, Gemini, Boo Williams, Dance Mania Crew. The duo also helped to book many Chicago DJs on the Paris scene for public and private parties, and bookings on major radio stations.

25 years on from the best parties, Interstate 55 is back at the mix to promote underground once again, with current and older sounds, through the finest Radio Shows and the Lake Shore Drive Series. Deep, funky, bumpy, hard, soulful... House music is a reflection of life. It's a trip.
