narration: Basically, this is a second part to Vinyl Ventriloquist ("people are busy / completing first lines / ...."). People of similar age and interest will hear some allusions and few quotations. The working title 'amrita' refers to the Indian legend alluded to in the last verse. That milkmaid entered the poem via an idiom in my native language: Milchmädchenrechnung.

This song Began as a very Nice progressive/swing  tune titled "A Mood of Two" created by the Furico music Team and one of my favorites of theirs, several years ago-- Teth Sin (Mick) decided to do a collab/remix and asked me to supply some lyrics--i had some in the can from a song Called "Beloved Sisters of the storm"

A Cybernetic Hypothesis: An Experiment

     This is my new Christmas song for the year. It has a double meaning for me and that's why I call it "The Last Christmas"! Charlie did a good job singing it and I joined him in spots! I wrote it during the hot summer this year, so go figure!!😂 I used up all the tracks I had available to record it (I'm old school, give me a break!) and I had tons of fun recording all the parts too! The song at the end during the credits is another Christmas song I wrote back in 2001 called "Have A Very Merry Christmas" with Sharri singing and Charlie and me doing background vocals. Check both out I have a video each one! This video was super fun to create, I spent a lot of time and effort on it, the sleigh ride with Santa is especially cool! I added a lot of eye-candy and special audio effect here and there. This video is for the whole family so feel free to share it with loved ones and watch it together.

Now for the secret double meaning of this song!! It's a sad tale, so prepare yourselves! Back when I was in high school, back in ancient times, there was a very pretty girl in our English class named Chrissy, she was very nice and sweet, I sat next to her and she was very smart and let us dumb guys cheat off of her papers sometimes!😂 Anyway for almost the whole year I never realized that her real name was Christmas, we all called her Chrissy. There was something very sad about Chrissy, I didn't know what it was but the next year Chrissy never returned to school? Later, I found out she had leukemia, I think? She never returned to school after that and some of the kids told me she had sadly passed away however I'm not sure about that but I never did she her again. So this song is for her and after all these years she popped back in my brain?! So let's all enjoy Christmas this year with family and friends because you never know when it will be your Last Christmas! Relaxing and thoughtful music to slow down your pace in life to experience the wonders around you.  Think about it... how often do you lift your head up and look above you?  Most of the time, I'm looking down at my piano keyboard, my computer, my feet, my phone and while cleaning, eating and reading.  At best, I look ahead while driving, shopping, watching TV, walking and maybe now and then I look up.  But when I do, it's not for long.  I'm usually  checking the sky for weather or trying to swat a fly!  Think about all the wondrous, magical and beautiful things we are missing by not looking up!

Tend your listening senses gently. Even though my general approach welcomes and embraces lo-fi concepts like the precision of spontaneously occuring imprecisions, headphones worth their membranes are recommended - unless you like your sounds flat, mangled, battered and helpless. You don't, do you? Be kind to these soundscapes.

STRUCTURING IMPULSE

Due to the nature of "poetry soundscapes", your listening expectations regarding traditionally structured "songs", sonically purified "raw wildlife soundscapes", keyboard-laden "ambient recordings" or voice-centered "readings" might not be met. You will find some of those in my list of /likes/. "Noise" is a recurring structural element like any other. This is what this sounds like - within its own rights, limitations, tangents and interconnections. Sonic structures. Silent stretches. Poetry emerges from the gaps between the ruts, seeps in from the undergrowth, sweeps down.
