I was never the best student. Always distracted; I hated being in a quiet room to study but I struggle listening to songs with words because I'm more distracted. Then I found chillhop; I remember long study hours in college, medical school, and residency listening to chilledcow who introduced me to the likes of Otaku and other great chillhop producers. Though I’m more a fan of lyrically charged tracks being a rapper myself, Chillhop has a special place in my heart hence my efforts to recreate something for others to help push through those dark times in study spaces. For whatever reason it just makes it less monotonous and painful. Enjoy <3
