Joel Mull's career spans over three decades. With a background studying classical music, singing in choirs and playing in bands, Joel found electronic music at a young age as a source of freedom. His first experience came from DJing in the chill-out areas of rave parties in his native Stockholm during the early 90’s. 

With his roots from Hamburg, Germany, he moved to the city in 1994, and worked as a resident DJ for 3 years at one of the biggest techno clubs in Germany, Unit Club. This was an important period for him and as a DJ; It taught him how to control the energy of the night on the dance floor, from warm up sets to 10h marathon sets. 

With releases on music labels worldwide along with Cari Lekebusch, Robert Leiner, Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlbäck he counts to the first wave of Swedish techno producers who became known around the world as the "Swedish techno sound". 

He has produced over 100 releases under various names such as Icarus, Gotzkowsky and most recently under his alias Damm. 

He often refers to himself and his craft as a sound architect, and if you’ve ever experienced his club sets, you’ll understand why.  Under his ambient and electronica alias Damm, Joel revives one of his earliest aliases and expands upon this discipline even further.

Rolando grew up in south west Detroit, a primarily Hispanic district of the city, he was heavily influenced by his Latin cultural rhythms and percussion. Inspired from an early age by his musician father, he pursued his own interest in music and became well known and respected within the Latino community. It was later when he heard Jeff Mills in 1985 as "The Wizard" that he discovered the innovative sounds of Techno. Through a mutual friend he was introduced to Mike Banks and joined the enigmatic Underground Resistance in 1994.

In 1999 'Jaguar' although not Rolando's first release on UR turned perceptions of Techno on their head, breaking into other genres of dance music and becoming an all time classic in the boxes of DJs such as Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Oakenfold, and Gilles Peterson. The track has a long legacy of reworking and lives on to this day many years later inspiring audiences from all genres.

In November 2004, Rolando left both Underground Resistance and his Los Hermanos project behind.2014 saw Rolando  launch his own label R3 ( Roland Rocha Records) and has more or less exclusively released his own music on his label since. Rolando now a Dj for more than thirty –five years continues to work internationally as a Dj , producer and Remixer  with an eclectic clientele such as Marcel Dettman, Kraftwerk, D’Julz, Ben Sims, Skudge, A Sagittariun. Rolando continues to hold his residency 2006)  at Berlin club Berghain.

Nowadays, I'm glad to see that Italo Disco has found again its way to the new generations. The old releases are being rediscovered and these last few years many new italo inspired tracks have been released.
Just like in my Radius days I find myself drawn back into the Italo stream.  I've never stopped following and collecting it, so it's about time I upload a mix.
        
Some time ago I played with David Vunk at Ampere. This is the recording of the first 90 minutes. A mix with a focus on more recent italo sounds, spiced up with some classics. Expect a moody set that builds up smoothly and moves from your ears to your feet, guaranteed to spin you into a dizzy state of delirium.

Today he is resident at Kozzmozz, Belgium’s longest running techno party.  And even though he’s part of this legendary celebration for ages, his Retro Acid Residency is in the running even longer.
Spacid is promoting promoting electronical music since the early 90’s but never ties down to one particular style. He thinks outside the box and takes you to a variety of moods.  He understands how to adapt a range of atmospheres depending on the venue, people and mood. Both his reverence for the past and his quest for innovation transpire in his work as a dj. His thirst for renewal is illuminated by his passion for music, which keeps him sharp. 
Together with Dimitri Andreas, he's Marching Machines. As producers, they’re exploring the boundaries of Electro, House, Dark disco, Italo and EBM.  Their love for electronical machine manipulation is key and has its output on labels like Correspondant, Rotten City records, Opilec-music, Why people dance, Nein and Wrong Era records.            
               
Next to his love for music, Spacid loves green beans and koala bears. He's feeling judge-y when he finds the time to dust off his vinyl stock and he is an avid collector of in-flight sick bags. In 2014, he won the prestigious Tuvaluan Lacemaking championship in and is also an amateur surgeon.
