Wolfgang Lohr is a Berlin based producer, composer, remixer, artist, and DJ whose career spans way back and encompasses a vast variety of different musical projects. Born in Bad Segeberg and raised in Lübeck (GER) by the Baltic Sea, where he served as a trumpeter, singer, and songwriter for the ska band “DaSKArtell” (@das-kartell).

He finally moved to Berlin in 2007 and dove right into its colorful and flourishing electro scene. Till this day he’s involved in several groups and productions, such as the Disco-House duo “DINKS” (@dinksmusik) and the Tech House outfit “Dorade” (@dorademusik), making him a mainstay of the scene who has created remixes for well known, fellow artists like Felix Jaehn, Parov Stelar, Alle Farben, The Manhattan Transfer and In-Grid.

His cover of Ray Charles’ “Hit the Road Jack” has surpassed a total of 90 million plays and has turned Lohr into one of the most sought-after Electro Swing artists worldwide, with a catalogue that now spans about 150 own tracks and remixes.

In addition to his musical endeavors, he has co-founded a Tech House label Coast Connection (@coastconnectionrecords), the “FDF” music blog (@free-download-friday), turned House-label “FDF Records”, as well as the “Electro Swing Thing” (@electroswing) label that has become a home to the versatile cross-over genre and amplifies the voices of its artists.

"Duke Skellington" is an artist and producer spinning on the forefront of the global "Future Swing" music movement. His style is a synthesis developed from pioneering electronic music like (insert dope classic drum and bass that shaped you here), dance-heavy big-band swing & hot jazz from the 1920’s and 1930’s, and lo-fi avant-garde soundscapes that lift your mind to the clouds. Duke Skellington is the music producer for both the Vaude Villainz and Duke Skellington music projects. The Vaude Villainz recent record “Voodoo Swing” was released in early 2017 with Ragtime Records and was #2 on the Beatport top selling Glitch Hop albums. The Duke Skellington "Devils, Dames and Debauchery" EP is dropping with Ragtime in 2020, and will be expanding on his signature futuristic and vintage music sound. He also co-hosts an Electro Swing Podcast called “Jitterbug Jukebox”, and is part of the label boss team at Ragtime Records. Swingamajig is the UK’s first one day urban festival dedicated to Electro Swing, Gypsy Folk and vintage mayhem! Swingamajig takes the sounds and styles from the 1920′s and brings them up to date with a modern twist bringing together several thousand of the best dressed ladies and gents to party like it is 1929

Swingamajig has grown out of the success of Hot Club de Swing, a Birmingham club night that is all about swing with a big bass sound, and is curated by the Electric Swing Circus – The UKs Hottest Electro Swing band. Four diverse stages showcasing some of the most inventive and entertaining acts on the scene Live bands, DJs, swing dancers, vintage cinema, acrobats, artists and more. A full day and night of wild of vintage debauchery that will be the talk of the town for months to come!
