WE PLAY ACID is a record label devoted exclusively to the most Underground Acid House aspect of electronic dance music. Main releases or remixes may float with more or less TB303 incorporation. Just because it sounds Acid, it doesn't mean its good for us. Our releases will not cover the extensive use of Resonance, or Hardcore tracks. We love the roots of Acid House since the genesis and focus to keep the genuine dance floor vibration, using Mr. Tadao Kikumoto´s legendary magic boxes, such as TR707, 808, 909 and TB303. Although we are huge fans from the old school sound, nowadays we can add interesting breaking ground patterns, effects and new ideas by blending modern hi-tech with precious ancient knowledge. When we find it, We Play Acid:)

Once a peace-loving sound doctor known for fixing frequencies and aligning crooked beats, Mindbender accidentally rewired his own brain while experimenting with an early prototype of a neural groove stimulator. The machine went haywire, turning him from mild-mannered engineer to full-blown audio anarchist.

Since the late ’80s, he’s been engineering floor-melting experiments and mentoring rogue producers through his Mindbender Masterworks lab - turning out a dangerous new generation of sonic saboteurs. Alongside long-time collaborator Högt I Tak, he co-founded When Disco Goes Wrong, a label-turned-underground movement dedicated to the noble art of rhythmic mischief.

His studio is a hybrid operating theatre and time machine, where vintage circuitry meets digital voodoo and every fader has a story. He doesn’t produce tracks so much as summon them - unpredictable hybrids of acid, disco and funk that refuse to behave but somehow make perfect sense at 3 a.m.

Approach with caution: prolonged exposure may cause involuntary grinning, mild transcendence and a lifelong addiction to weird grooves.

Eva Toya is a music producer, DJ, singer, and performer from Russia, now based in Spain.

With more than nine years of experience performing across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including Spain, Thailand, Bali, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Bahrain, Eva has shaped a truly global and distinctive sound.

A classically trained musician since childhood, Eva brings depth, emotion, and melody into the world of techno. Her sets are charged with hypnotic rhythms, cosmic vocals, and driving grooves, blending Industrial, Hard, Acid, Hypnotic, and Trance-infused Techno with her unmistakable style.

Eva releases her music on international labels such as Amped (UK), We Play Acid (NL), Beenoise Records (IT), and Synthetic Affect Records (DE), earning recognition within the European underground techno scene.

Her performances are not just DJ sets, they are immersive experiences, where electronic music meets ritual energy. Deeply inspired by the Berlin techno movement and the ethnic and spiritual sounds of the cultures she’s encountered, Eva fuses mantras, ancient chants, and live vocal improvisations with pulsating electronic soundscapes.

Each performance is a journey, a fusion of techno power, feminine energy, and cosmic sensuality that connects the audience through rhythm, emotion, and raw presence.

Her shows combine sound, performance art, and fashion, creating unforgettable moments that turn every event into a visual and sonic ritual.

Berlin's Cinthie has grown to become one of the most revered and respected figures in contemporary electronic music in recent years both in her hometown and across the globe. Her touring schedule regularly sees her playing her inimitable DJ style in hotspot cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm, Seoul, Osaka, and of course her beloved hometown Berlin .

Djing in said city since the early nineties as a teenager Cinthie's depth of knowledge radiantly shines through in her sets and her productions, which traverse through a broad range of classic and contemporary House and Techno sounds. Recent times have seen Cinthie look inwards towards her aspirations for the future, and as a result, dedicated a huge portion of her time to building her own studio, featuring a wide spectrum of some of the most noteworthy vintage drum machines and synthesizers in existence.

Initially Cinthie made her mark with Diego Krause, Ed Herbst and stevn.aint.leavn as the Beste Modus / Beste Freunde collective, amongst running Unison Wax and We_R House on top of the main labels. Most recently she launched her 803 Crystalgrooves imprint to critical acclaim, a platform which has become a huge focus for her own productions for the foreseeable future as well as the imprint's sub-label Collective Cuts, which as the name suggests, welcomes music from affiliates and friends of the artist. On top of this there’s a burgeoning relationship with Will Saul's Aus imprint where her debut album comes in 2020. Cinthie’s unfaltering drive and dedication to all things House continues into another decade...

After having his application to join the Wu Tang Clan rejected, Summitt Rouss took up the moniker Flex Rock and struck out on his own as a DJ and producer. Inspired by old school acid house, modern nu-rave, 80s synthesizers and the no frills cooking style of Pasquale Carpino, Flex Rock set out to remake the dance music scene in his own graven image. Flex Rock’s releases are acclaimed by at least one person that he’s familiar with and his parents thought they are “neat.” They have scraped the bottom of the  barrel of 80's synthfluence and redefined what it means to be a seventh wave acid producer. He has released music on now the now defunct Jexonex label, the still currently funct Maetta label and independently through the internet tubes on third party intermediary websites. His greatest regret to date is never growing to be an even 6 feet tall.
