ARTIST'S BIO:
Salvo Pizzuto is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who has always had a passion for deeper electronic music, clubbing and listening to his favorite DJs over time have shaped his tastes to the point that it is. currently. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown and is one of the very few DJs in Sicily to promote deep / experimental techno. His inspirations come from the wonderful nature that surrounds him and from mysticism. Its sound is based on dark and ambient percursions and modulations.
Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey by recreating soundscapes.
His curriculum is constantly growing, he has made several publications
Nfeere, Space Texture, DNC LIMITED, DOSIS RECORDS, LETT RECORDS, THE CODE, ERAM RECORDS AND Charybdis under the pseudonym of SAAM.

Everyone has his bible/coran/torah/whatever, ours is @jean-yves-leloup 's "Ambient Music" book.
We are so happy to welcome his musical alter today.

DJ and sound artist with Radiomentale and Quiet Voices, Jean-Yves Leloup was also, as a journalist, one of the privileged witnesses of the emergence of the electro movement, which he echoed through articles, radio shows and books, including Ambient Music (2021), Techno 100 (2018), Global Techno (1999) and Digital Magma: from the utopia of rave parties to the iPod generation (2006).
As a curator, he leads numerous projects at the intersection of art and music, such as the listening devices The Listener (2017) and Audiolab (2001-2003), and the exhibitions Electrosound (2016) and Electro (2019-2022).
RadioMentale's latest album "The Landscape Melts Into Itself" was released in 2021 by Irradiant Hologram.
Quiet Voices' ep "Hantologies", will be released in March 2022 by Sähkö Recordings.

Dear listeners, welcome to another episode of the Identity formation listening sessions. While we usually only publish podcasts on the first Sunday of the month, we have decided to release some podcasts from our collection to give you the opportunity to enjoy this quite time with some new soothing music. Our ninth installment is curated by none other than Jeroen Smulders, also known by his artistic moniker "Monosphere", and the the visionary mind behind @deep_electronic.

Monosphere aka Jeroen Smulders from the Netherlands is the founder of Deep Electronics, a deep music podcast and netlabel that explores the deep diversity in music. He was introduced to electronic music in the 80s with the music of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. In the 90's he explored the many genres such as techno, ambient and goa/psychedelic trance as well as artists from the past such as Klaus Schultz and Kraftwerk. In later years, his interest in more experimental and deeper electronic music led him to dubtechno and dub-related subgenres.

In 2013 he started his channel to collect this music and other genres in tracks and guest mixes from all over the world, combined with his own photography.

He has also released many sets on prestigious channels such as Poisonoise, Dub Explorations from Quandrant Soundscape, Spclnch, Dub Techno TV, Feed the Raver and many more. In 2023 he'll be celebrating 10 years of podcasting and more than 35 years of listening to electronic music.

As we embark on this auditory exploration, let the waves of sound wash over you, carrying you to realms where emotion and melody intertwine.
