Splintered field recordings morph between tangible artifacts and hyperreal structures rising out of endless fields. Treating audio as textile, she weaves a composite memory map from threads of disparate experiences.

✚ Chaos and Order is the new project from B E N N, a Taipei-based producer/ DJ and founder of label @overmybodytw, operating at the intersection of sound, philosophy and abstraction. Chaos and Order is an auditory study of rupture and resonance, an experimental soundscape shaped by modern sonic fragmentation. 

✚ Drawing inspiration from Taoist cosmology, B E N N weaves fractured rhythms, collapsing structures, and granular forms of digital decay to embody the shifting interplay of Yin and Yang, entropy and order in constant flux. Across the EP rhythms become rituals, and forms become states of perpetual disintegration and reassembly, where glitch is not error but in essence an aesthetic of imperfection and transformation. His work resists resolution, favoring inward collapse and constant transformation: Intimate yet conceptual, narrative driven yet defiantly non-linear. His work is continuously shifting between post-club terrains and more abstract sonic inquiry

P I T is one of the aliases of Pietro Michi, sound artist and founder of Biodiversità Records. The project stems from a need to merge various influences from club music through a boundaryless approach, translating these sounds into a space that is at times non-functional. His sonic research also intersects with the concept of digital organisms, exploring alternative biotic realities that can exist and coexist across both digital and physical realms.

Across stage and studio, the duo have cultivated a performative language that fuses Shinto-derived ritual with the communal, itinerant traditions of popular theatre and mythic storytelling - echoing forms from ancient satyr plays to medieval cycles - set against the spectral terrains of post-techno-capital collapse.

∎ The album by MIRA comprises 11 sonic tales - ranging from electronic ballads to mythogenic fragments - conceived as the rudiments of a symbolic architecture. Each piece invites listeners to imagine the myths and ruins we might forge and choose to carry from this world into the next, echoing the propositions of Italian philosopher Federico Campagna.

∎ For this EP, he says: "In a world where streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music are becoming mainstream, the sampling culture of the past, such as SoundCloud, is disappearing. I thought that this was such a waste, so I created this piece using free-flowing samples. So I say the theme of this project is freedom. I just wanted to sample freely." The tracks Paru and Goi are accompanied by remix versions by our musical friends Jaijiu from Buenos Aires' Rebote Discoteca and J. Córdova from Chicago's Agua de Rosas.

∎ Wrack is often your favorite DJ's/producer's favorite producer. Brodinski, Sinjin Hawke, Zora Jones, Umru, Scratcha DVA, or Kaval, you can hear his music in their sets for sure. As a DJ, he is a resident at Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR) and has contributed mixes to Boiler Room, Mixmag, NTS, Rinse, and i-D. He played shows both in Japan and abroad, including Mexico City, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Taipei, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Sapporo, and many other places.
