Recorded with a Zoom H4n (wide pattern setting, kind of like a wide angle lens, but for sound), 16 bit stereo WAV format, 44,1 kHz sampling rate.

P.S. The picture may be misleading, my home does not offer a view of the marina ; )

Versality

A New Year - a new project : ) 
Grundomma is myself and my brother Glenn Ward. Its been a few years since we actively made music together...but now seems like a good a time as any. We live a few 1000 kms apart across Australia so this a file swapping exercise. The first track "Flying" features Glenn on rhythm programming, synths and sampling and yours truly on Basses and glitchy noise stuff.. this will no doubt change with each future track. Original Version of Chhota Kadam.

The Mumbai Mix of Chota Kadam is literally the only music I have produced in Ableton…it probably shows. I wrote it in Gadget on the iPad and it was nice but a bit dirty sounding and I couldn’t clean it up, so I remade it pretty much from scratch in Ableton then sent it to Belial for the collab, which he released. Then I thought I would release the original as my Mumbai Mix afterwards…glad I did 😀 Thanks for the feedback

Chhota Kadam (Libby’s Mumbai Mix)

The mysterious 'Cup and Rings' rock art created over 3,000 years ago in Europe have fascinated archeologists over many years. In 1981 an unusual specimen was uncovered in an urban woodland in the Yorkshire city of Sheffield which I make a point of visiting regularly. This neolithic masterpiece lies tucked away in Ecclesall Woods and is characterised by a variant of the usual concentric circles design, which gives a unique outline to its carving. This funkier version of Stone Age expression deserves a celebration in music which is attempted here....
