The @kalaharioystercult label boss has not only proven his great taste shaping his label's very own sound but also made some waves with his mixes lately. The mix he recorded for Syntop Audio combines uplifting trancy melodies with deep electro sounds and dreamy atmospheres. With its trippy groove the mix drags the listener into a deep, ravy hypnosis. "I had the honour of closing out one of the most special events I’ve played to date, celebrating the incredible Command D's EP launch for Clone Dialogue. It was my very first warehouse party I’ve been booked for and felt like a full-circle moment as warehouse parties are where I fell in love with our scene when I moved to Marrickville in 2016. I got to play so many of my favourite tracks I’ve been saving up for years out of Translate's ridiculous rig, literal dream come true! 

I’ve re-recorded my set from the night as I was silly enough not to bring a recorder but some things are best in the moment & hopefully this captures a little of the atmosphere. 

Biiiiig thanks to the whole crew, Charley, Fruit Bowl, & Body Promise for putting so much faith in me 🥺🥲 & @ben-fester & @iv-dripp who I’m so honoured to play alongside! "

Celebrating the hundredth Animix with some of Animalia's very own - a special live set recorded at the Animalia event in May by Ebbs n Flow (@ebbsnflow), the brainchild of Will Holden & Dashiell. Will is @undergroundcityloop, and one half the iconic Melbourne chuggy trance duo @hybridmn. Dash (@dashiell) has released solo tunes on Animalia, and also makes up one third of Animalia's very own boyband, Ménage (@menagerecords). 

In their new project, the two have paired together to create cheeky, steppy tunes which delve into tech house, garage & d'nb inspired sounds. Ebbs n Flow released a couple of tunes on Animalia's recent compilations and have much more in the works.. so happy to share this mix with everyone for number 100!
