All wrapped in a custom made silkscreen sleeve, also including a textile keychain and stickers. Sonically spanning from ambient to techno, 10 Yahre carries new and exclusive material, all woven around the label’s decade focus on dance floor culture, started 2011 in Cologne, Germany.

French label Cosmocities, was established in 2019 by Matthieu Soulié-Strougar. Based in Dijon, the label has played host to an impressive roster that includes Leif, Segue, Jitwam, Inner Science, Inkswel, Active Ingredients and Kaidi Tatham. Also responsible for the sell-out smash by Detroit trio Billy Lo, with the outstanding ‘It’s The Life EP’ in January ’21. This coming  year the release schedule is looking fierce with EP’s form Delano Smith and Norm Tally in the 2022 pipeline, plus Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard gets busy on a remix for Japanese producer Inner Science next outing on the label. 

In keeping with this quality, A&R run, Cosmocities presents a four-track affair by Neapolitan scenester, DJ & producer, Fabrizio Fattore, entitled the ‘Lyle EP’. Bringing onboard the production muscle in the shape of Vince Watson. The Englishman, based out of Amsterdam, has been putting out timeless music for over 20 years, over two hundred releases and eleven albums. This man knows his way around a studio.

Fabrizio Fattore, forged his career as a DJ at the world renowned NEUHM party in Naples, sharing the box with artists like Ron Trent, François Kevorkian, Timmy Regisford, Soichi Terada. Since NEUHM started, Fabrizio Fattore was the resident alongside  Gigi Testa. His first release, the afro house ‘Genesis’ came out on Tribe Trax in 2017, later releasing on World Peace Music, and Visions Recordings.

With a touch of swing, a wobbling bass line and all the jazzy elements and cheering voices “The Swingers” gives that perfect vibe to really get a party going.

“Worthy” is nearly cracking that harmony with raw, almost careless cut Afro Latin jazz samples, deep chords and spherical particles embedded, but a funky bass always keeps the easy vibe.

“Lingerie” opens the flip-side with a tight beat, perfectly complemented with a noisy piano lick, strings, horns and some hip hop cuts.

“Overseas Phone Number” then rounds out the release by featuring a swinging rhythm, lovely string pads, pleasant saxophone parts and paying tribute to a French rap classic. Altogether, you will answer it with a smile, for sure. With this in your bag, you´ll be prepared for toughest rescues!

Hamburg 'boy band' Volker.live release their last EP ever. The trio's final act takes one back to the summer of 2019 when they decided to rock and perform on stages around the globe. The highlight of their sets and creative on-stage being always was My Love Will Set You Free, an uplifting homage to electronic music, namely to House with an Acid-note paired with melancholic almost nostalgic-sounding vocals by the trio's friend ÆN. With an as catchy track as My Love Will Set You Free is the release of an EP took shape as several artists wanted to take on remix duties right away. One of them was Berliner Lucky Charmz, who emphasizes the Acid or rather saying the trippy amount of sounds of the track but still keeping the track's disco-ish note. With a total length of almost 10 minutes Lucky Charmz builds up an intriguing groove with even more inspiring synth-lines, which in the end conglomerate to a homogenous summer-ish trippy version, one wishes to hear during the none-existing festival season of summer 2020. 

Volker.live's EP My Love Will Set You Free is already released on vinyl already, digital will follow on Mireia Records on May 29th, 2020.
